I have an intact record of his my parents gifted for Xmas in the early 80s. It sat unplayed in a closet until I rediscovered a year ago. Music tastes change I guess as we mature

Andy had such an angelic voice. He left way too soon. Its sad that he could not see his self worth. Depression and drugs lead to his untimely death. He will be remembered as young talented and beautiful.

I've never heard anyone do this song. Andy did a fine job, he always put his heart into his singing. I wonder if he ever knew how loved he was by everyone? I miss him.

I love Andy's version of this song. I recorded it on cassette tape and wore it out! I also wish there a compilation of the amazing work Andy did on Solid Gold. Not matter what was going on with his personal life, he was super talented and the love of teenage self! Still is!!!
Andy had a beautiful angelic voice. He was so talented hansome and famous. Its tragic he could not handle fame. Depression low self esteem and drugs took him away too soon. He will be forever young talented and beautiful.
Andy was a perfect host in 1982 with singing talents. Everything seemed to be going his way till life shattered in pieces

This latest upload is a gem!!! Journey was super-popular at that time and Andy Gibb was as well and did it real well here. on "Solid Gold." Something that I had noticed is that Andy had such a serious countenance throughout much of the song. I know that it was an intense song. He did break with a smile at the end. Thank you, Michael, for your uploads from your Michsel Millee Time Machine. It is a video vault with a cornucopia of musical treats from the past. The legacy of "Solid Gold" and all those who had worked on the show and/or performed on the show lives on through these video uploads. The music has magic, but so does the celluloid.

This is the beautiful version of the song, Open Arms performed by Andy Gibb. It brings tears to my eyes hearing it. I bet Steve Perry would be impressed and the Andy's bros would be proud of him.
Andy died way to soon. He had so many stories to tell through his song writing. Still a huge fan of his.
