  • After recently adding the drone to my camera bag, it has suddenly opened up a new world of possibilities for me that I could never dream of before.
I decided on making the Howth Branch as my first proper film with the drone, and hopefully many more to come!
In this video I do an aerial tour of the 3 mile long Howth Branch from Howth Junction - Howth with some clips of the surrounding scenery around Bayside and Sutton.
Footage was filmed using the DJI Mini 2 during the Winter of 2021 / 2022
    Music:
'Til Death Parts Us' - Aakash Gandhi
    'White River' - Aakash Gandhi
'Chords Of Harmony' - Aakash Gandhi
'Beneath The Moonlight' - Aaron Kenny
'Frozen In Love' - Aakash Gandhi
    'Angel's Dream' - Aakash Gandhi
    'Art Of Silence' - Uniq

This is the type of video that could be in an archive to show how the Howth line looked in 2020! Maybe I'll come back to this video in 10-20 years for nostalgia!

I would have to agree with you there, you get more scenery in the shot and the composition is better as well. I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍

    Hi My Drone pilot friend
I’m the same as yourself, I to added a Dji M.2 to my camera bag
My Son got one a year before I did
Thinking a I’ll just use his one
But doesn’t work out that way 😂
It’s certainly not buy go fly
The Mastering how to fly takes time and all first time pilots mistakes
Spatial awareness is hard and remember where you are?
I’m now a bit more confident flying
I found that if you place yourself in mind you’re sitting behind the gimbal and your looking like your flying it and keeping the controls forward ,turns Yaw, Etc
And use your on screen map for the flight/ lost, and non visual of the Craft
I’m only starting to play with the camera settings and have some fun
    Love Your Footage
