My 16 year old gelding Smokey is furry all year round and hate/love it! He never is slick like your horse and sometimes I get so tired of it! But most of the time I love how furry and adorable he is!❤️
Is he hydrated in the summer if he gets to hot pit this in a boll or a plastic cup, cut up some carrots and apples put it in water with a little apple juice put a long pece of twin or string inthe water and let it hang out the cup so you can hang it on a tree for you horse, they love it.
@@riverturner851 no horse likes any of that. Horses litteraly dont even like apples much (most horses)#

If I get a horse we don’t have town water we have a well and with our hose we can’t get warm water so can u wash a horse with cold water of should I go up to my house and get warm water from the sink conment people HELP

Is the water cold or warm? Where I live it is kinda cold so would I bathe my horse with warm water? Oh and what type hose is that? Love your videos ❤️
Equestrian Evolution warm water is actually better for them, even in the summer, to prevent muscle cramping or shocking the muscles, so warm water is definitely best!

Warm is better but if it is cold where you live you won't want to give your horse a bath or they will get hypothermea

Do you wash your horse once a week or twice a month
In the late spring, summer and early fall I rinse Bluejeans off almost every day. But, I only bathe her once every couple of months. It's not good to bathe your horse a lot because it washes away the natural oils in your horse's coat.
