I highly highly highly recommend this movie but I think it's important for some people to know its a story told from two different perspectives, one from the beginning forward, one from the end backwards. First time I watched it I was completely lost and after I understood what was happening, it made so much more sense and really shined for me.

@@bloobluex I know exactly what you mean. Like I am a huge Broadway nerd but even I can see that the community can get a bit too holier than thou sometimes. They're not entirely wrong though. Ariana is an excellent vocalist but performing songs in a concert one thing (she does extensive choreo too which already sets her apart) and starring in a musical and doing like 8 shows a week takes a great amount of strength. If your technique isn't rock solid, your voice takes a hit like Idina Menzel after Wicked or Barett after Heathers.
If she wanted to, bway would welcome her with wide open arms. Because...ya know...ticket sales. 🤷♀️ as far as the community, yeah they'd be just as annoyed as when ANY famous person comes to bway.
