    BINGO! I can't believe how many CZcams instructors give drills to force you to manipulate your arms and/or hands to get shaft lean. I wish someone would have taught me the importance of shaft lean years ago and the proper way to get it: rotation! Great stuff sir.

    I constructed a hitting mat with a fiberbuilt strip and got a hitting cage specifically because of your videos. I think this video, despite being years ago comparative to your most recent videos may have been the final piece of the puzzle. I’ve seen 3 recent videos mentioning for shaft lean, you need to keep your left arm lower than your right now. I’ll be drilling this later as I’m a high hitter and while adding shallowing to my swing have been opening my club face which has been frustrating. I think this really helped clear a few things up for me.

    This turning hips out the way is amazing...I’ve yet to hit a real ball to try it, but my sponge practice balls are going to explode if I hit them with any more power. Again another game changer from you....thank you

    Love this video. Can I ask does the same apply to driver, woods and hybrids? I assume so. Gonna try when next in range. Cheers, Peter

    Great drill but curious how do you keep club face square? You mention, the club will be more open with shaft lean. Do you close the club face at left arm parallel? Also, the drill won’t prevent pushing hands forward as the alignment stick will not hit your body.

    After the drill are you releasing the hands after the ball is hit. Thanks

    My problem with any "shaft lean" is when to release the club to the ball. I will often chunk it from behind or top it because of timing issues.

    Body rotation should organize the clubheadspeed bud this slow and difficult to draw the ball thank you

  • @marcussheldon9220
    @marcussheldon9220 Před 3 lety

    Hi, can you help? The swing is an arc !!! Having the ball position back or middle of the stance, puts the ball on the inside back in the arc , so the club is coming on the inside before the bottom of the arc is reached which is around center of the left shoulder. So if the club face is square at the ball this could be a push draw or a push to the left. Is it true at impact the club face should be slightly open to keep square to the arc to create a straight shot. Thanks 🙏

    Sir, i need to see in slow motion your rotation. In full speed motion I can not see what is going on.
