- What's it like to cruise aboard the legendary, 1931-built SEA CLOUD, the world's oldest, most historic overnight ocean going passenger ship? Step aboard in Palma de Mallorca for a nine night cruise visiting some of Spain's most beautiful ports of call (Ibiza, Valencia, Alicante, Malaga and Cadiz) before disembarking in Casablanca. As an extra bonus, the SEA CLOUD sailed in tandem with her newer fleetmate SEA CLOUD II during parts of the voyage. And how cool to meet the gent whose father worked on Sea Cloud in the 1930s, and that the MMP family left their personal scrapbook with the vessel! lol the dock is where we docked there! You boarded a 1930s masterpiece, while I returned to an ex banana boat and I believe one of the last State Lines, Moore McCormick, and USL ships in service! It was a fun stop, we had the ex Europa to the right of us and across the bay we had the ex Viking Serenade and Homeric. Not to mention the ill fated Concordia. Oh and the Disney Magic and the Epic were there as well.
