It's a good Saturday when you win this coin for $61 on EBay - 2019 West Point US Mint American Silver Eagle Proof $1 Coin with OGP and COA.
With the clamshell added, did they learn that the capsule/box format was a bad idea for shipping it securely? I think so.

I'm glad they upgraded the packaging! It looks good. Yeah, I was surprised teh RP set didn't do better last year. I won't be buying that set this year either.

I might get some 2024 peace dollars this year depending on how on my wallet is feeling. Wish they bring back the Double eagle for 2024 like they did in 2009.

Hi S3, I will buy both the Morgan Dollar and the Peace Dollar in every finish the Mint makes: Uncirculated, Proof, and Reverse Proof. I wish the Mint would make a 24k matte gold Peace Dollar to go with my Centennial Set.

Bummer, no unboxing videos b/c everyone cancelled their orders. Bravo, US mint.
The other advance sale mint program sets aside I believe 10% for dealers so a handful of dealers can get a decent quantity of coins on day 1 (which they can send to PCGS right away)
So even with 10% set aside, collectors can do a subscription, avoid sale day chaos, and avoid eBay inflated prices.

Hay SSS I got a question for you and the community. The mints website says that the Morgan and Peace Dollar go on sale on July 11th. Which is funny cause that also just happens to be the same day that the FUN show in Orlando opens. So my question is do you think the mint will be at the show and will the mint be selling the Morgan and Peace dollars?
That's a great question. The US Mint will be at the GACC Tampa show and will be selling the Proof Morgan & Peace Dollars there. So, it wouldn't be a stretch to see them at the Summer FUN show in Orlando doing the same thing.
I hope you all have a great Memorial Day! Am I assuming the July 11th drops are limited editions? It does not say that on the US Mint website, at least not on the product page. Knowing the music you like look up Prince's Trust concert dedicated to Trevor Horn. Every year in England they do a Prince's Trust concert that year was dedicated to Trevor who not only was the lead singer of the Buggles, the 1st video aired on MTV but went on to be one of the most prolific pop producers in the world. The concert includes The Buggles, ABC Band, Frankie Goes to hollywood, Grace Jones, YES, Art of Noise? and other awesome artists.

I will be passing on Morgan and peace dollars from now on just a complete $grab from the usmint. They need to revamp their offerings already...
The US Mint loves these M & P dollar issuances, it makes them more money than the ASE and they use less silver.

I’m bailing on my reverse proof peace set today. I swear to GOD I’ll never buy any of these from the mint again. I rather buy junk silver.
I will be getting the Unc's and proofs but skipping the 2 coin set this year. I also won't be buying any graded70's, unlike last year. I'm really looking forward to the flowing hair medal graded70 and in OGP. ❤

Im passing on all of the Peace and Morgans. The Mint has ruined the program with the high quantities and the high prices. Proof sets, uncirculated sets and many others, rarely go up in value. I'd rather buy vintage coins. It feels as though the Mint is ruining everything they touch!
I turned off all my subscriptions. Not buying any more of these or any other US mint products.
For the price I can pick up a “real” Morgan or three “real” Peace dollars. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

same I bought 2 of the reverse proof morgan and peace dollars last year as the look I feel is underrated but only buying 1 this year. They need to bring back the CC and O mint Morgans or try to change it up every year or better yet reduce mintages to strike more demand.

And that my friend is why I will never stop investing in silver and gold. Eventually all hell will break loose with this uncontrolled spending. Brics will keep inching it's way to becoming the big dog. I suppose my question is what will happen to prevent it...........

OS (Osmium) as several influencers are front running prior to the reevaluation of all PM and the 💵gets knocked off its throne as the measuring stick for #1 .... Just how I am personally spreading diversity & value choices in my portfolio. Loving *Silver ASE & dimes for obvious reasons of SHTF , but am in a couple mining Stocks with fingers crossed. I have Studied Blockchain closely since 2017. I have my own notions. Speculations. & Predictions . Will not share them all with any & every as to I wish all to DYOR diligently, build a sound foundation, and then go crazy on what is best for you and your family's preservation of all your efforts intact if not better after this transition or the EVOLUTION has finished taking place. When we here the NEWS , its generally too late or rally in progress. Ask Nancy Pelosi how to gather Intel like her. Hopefully that loophole will be closed or slammed shut on some greedy fingers.
