PAN 7102CLP: Excellent yield potential with the benefits of an alternative weed control strategy.

PAN 7102CLP is a single cross hybrid with the Clearfield® Plus trait for an alternative weed control strategy, which is very beneficial in a crop rotation system.
In terms of yield potential and stability, PAN 7102CLP competes on an equal footing with the conventional hybrids. This hybrid is based on the PAN 7049 genetics.
PAN 7102CLP is slightly quicker than the other medium late hybrids. In the Clearfield® Plus package, PAN 7102CLP flowers first over a short period (10 days), PAN 7160CLP flowers second, but over a much longer period (up to 18 - 21 days) and PAN 7180CLP flowers slightly thereafter, but over a short period, thereby providing a tool to manage the risk of Sclerotinia when planted together as a package. The number of days to physiological maturity is also in the same order, as set out for the flowering dates. This means that the hybrids' harvest time is spread over a slightly longer period.
