This was so easy to make!!!! I added a splash of heavy cream to the 1/4 c water, used 1 tbs. Dark cocoa powder and 1 tbs. reg. Cocoa powder ... wow!!! I have Allulose, so that's what i used. It was quick! It was Easy! Yes, try it! Now i wait for it to cool down so i can add it to the homemade Keto Ice Cream! Thank you so much for sharing this simple fast recipe!
If you want to thicken it use Xanthan gum. Start with a cup of boiling hot water. Add the gum slowly ( 1/2 teaspoon per cup)while mixing then add everything else. I use powdered erythritol and find that when it is used in conjunction with xanthan gum it doesn’t seem to recrystalise .
You're very welcome and it means a lot. This channel wouldn't be possible without the subscribers, so I really do appreciate the support. I enjoy the experimenting and trying to make keto sustainable for everyone. I dont do it for the money, but after 3 years of making recipes I might actually break even this year! The book money is going to go a long way for the R&D budget. Most recipes are fairly affordable to develop, but the bread recipe cost me about $275 to get right lol. I cant do that every week, yet.
Thanks! I was looking at the sugar-free Hershey's yesterday at the grocery and I was surprised that they used erythritol instead of the other stuff. I'm glad I passed on it though because I can now make my own!
I went from watching this 10 minutes ago , to getting up and trying this . It works and its great. I used Lakanto ...it took some ration playing with the chocolate and time in microwave and I added more sugar because it wasnt sweet enough for me. But, it works and its great ! And I will be using it for ice cream in the next coming days
Did you just use lakanto or did you add the stevia? That ups the sweetness quite a bit. I also like a bit of bitter in chocolate though. Sweetener is easy to modify. I'm just baffled that no one sells something like this. The sugar free ones from the store are full of weird ingredients
I don't use allulose and don't care for stevia, but I have found that melting some lily's chocolate chips with some coconut oil and putting it on ice cream gives you a crunchy chocolate coating. I might try this with just erythritol. I wonder if some plain gelatin powder would help thicken it. I wouldn't use much though. What are your thoughts about that?
You're the best! Thank you so much for this! As suggested by "more plates more dates" I'm drinking pasturized egg whites for easy low fat protein. He suggests walden choc syrup but I don't like the taste. This is a cheap tasty alternative!
Thank you I’m so glad I found your channel now I can have delicious iced latte mocha guilt free because I wasn’t going to stop having it now I can have it and don’t have to worry about the sugar I do add milk but not a lot so I’m really enjoying it thank you
That looks good.. will try it.. my mom always made chocolate syrup for home made biscuits. But I really didn't know how to make it keto because like you said the sugar doesn't make it like the way reg. Sugar does.. I will get some alluse..
Can this be stored at room temperature? I imagine if I used dairy it would need to be in the fridge, but this recipe as you filmed doesn't use dairy so I wonder if it is shelf stable.
Love your recipes... i tried many of them. Any tips or opinions on Lupin flour .. yay or nay ... keto friendly? Would love to hear your thoughts or a recipe using Lupin flour 🌻
use heavy cream instead of water and add a little more sweetener and cocoa, taste amazing!
Should have scrolled down one in the comments, thanks!

Thankfully a video with a person talking and not just a video with nauseating noise for music and words on the screen ❤❤

I'll have to try that. Any time I get close to a 1 to 1 ratio it seems to crystallize as it cools. Thanks for the tip!
I went ahead and subscribed because your video was short, to the point, and helpful. That's about all I'm looking for in a recipe!
Thank you for all your great recipes! I know it’s not cheap to experiment, and you are much appreciated!❤️

@@blacksheepketo the sugar free ones taste like chemical. I didnt use stevia, I was all out .
I was looking for a low calorie chocolate syrup thank you so much ♥♥
Made your recipe. Turned ot well except a little thin though. I fixed the problem with a tad of xantham gum. Thanks for the recipe.
You can also cook it just a little bit longer and more liquid will evaporate. Xanthan gum is great as well. Glad you liked it!
So simple yet so good. Thanks! And you're right about the commercial stuff from that chocolate company. It has a weird bitter/sharp taste.
Yah I'm not sure how that got passed their QA team, but this is easy enough to make
Thank you for this recipe. I used heavy cream instead of water and knocked it out of the park! Would never know it is sugar free.

This is really good. I went to your channel and it looks like you aren’t making videos anymore right now.
Are you coming back?
Awesome video. Once again amazing info❤

Fantastic easy reciepy👌 Amazing editing one of the best 👏👏👏
Thank for your video? How long is this good for? Can I store it at room temp for a week? I want to mix this in coffee to make a keto mocha.
I'm going to make this here soon😍 Thank you for the recipe🍫😁
Thanks man!🤩 Subscribed right away☺️

Thank you ! I’m not on keto but this is very useful 😻
xanthan gum to thicken?
Assuming you store it in the refrigerator, it is usable in that cold state or do you have to heat it up?
Its usable cold. A little thicker, but still squirts well. I used it on some cheesecake earlier lol.
Could you use heavy whipping cream instead of water?
Loved it!
Is sugar free chocolate syrup ok to can?
Those would be awesome with your donuts!
Did you try to add arabic gum or xanathan gum to ticken the blend?
How many carbs per this recipe? Is it considered sugar free? Thanks 😊
U would be surprised how much nutrition cocoa has
Y not use allulose syrup?
Love your recipes... i tried many of them. Any tips or opinions on Lupin flour .. yay or nay ... keto friendly? Would love to hear your thoughts or a recipe using Lupin flour 🌻
The Hershey one only taste good when combined with liquid.
Couldn't u just use honey ?
Haha! I wouldn't think it would be weird at all to squirt the chocolate in your mouth!
