Ep 02 🌱 Transforming Chaos into Order: Clearing Weeds and Crafting Raised Beds!

Week two down on the allotment clearing weeds and investigating whats been left behind.
A surprise potato crop on my first harvest.

🌼 The plot is around 14 x 8 meters
🌺 I've been gardening for about 4 years from my small garden and looking forward to this much larger challenge 🙂

Watching this takes me back to when I started mine.. So many of the same thought processes and things to sort out! In a year from now you'll need a telescope to see how far you've come!

Cultivated or covered with weed mat to suppress the weeds, compost is green(weeds, vegetable/fruit kitchen scraps, lawn clipping) brown(leaves, cardboard, shredded paper, straw or hay). Then water added if too wet add more brown, too dry add more green. Fork everytime you gotothe plot.

Don't eat that potato. It is green and poisonous

Thankfully when I cut it open it was bad all the way through so I put it straight in the bin. I’m hoping for better luck next time 🙂🌱
