My main takeway from last night's election is that our votes no longer matter because the system has been hopelessly corrupted except in states that actually have (and adhere to) voter laws.

You are correct and very observant, in reality, we have 50 different countries inside one and 13 distinct cultures with different values. We sound and look similar, but we very different on the things that matter. With national movements over the last 80 years, the different groups have spread across the country. If you look at a election map, the cities vote blue and the rest state votes red. Florida is the exception for this election.

This is done *specifically* to support a narrative that something _hinky_ is going on, somehow ballots are being switched or dumped or pumped or rumped, or, whatever, and no one should trust our elections anymore ---- *UNLESS A REPUBLICAN WINS*

What would solve this problem is for people in privileged positions of power to not blatantly lie to gullible, genuine people who are swept along believing a continually pumped-out lie about a "stolen election" simply to boost a malignant narcissist's ego, when nothing of the sort took place - and in private those very same people concede as much, but they're using the invoked outrage to whip up their base, and it has _spectacularly_ backfired - big time.
If it had taken place, then the plaintiffs would have been able to present copious concrete evidence to over *60* individual conservative-run court cases, where they had ample opportunity to do so and produced zilch - literally nothing in evidence. Fools.

That's the whole point of my initial comment. The public themselves need to verify this. The whole point is to not take a person's word for it, and your solution leads to the very issue, taking ones word for it that it was *not* stolen. I don't know what the solution ultimately is, I'm just throwing out ideas, and there needs to be a way where we as the American people can verify the actual numbers rather than what a person claims about those numbers.

I remember when elections were decided on election day. This was with "primative" voting systems that were labor intensive. I find it incredulous that we are far less efficient and accurate with modern voting systems. Something doesn't smell right.
It takes longer, to count, when you're FABRICATING "ballots". You have to watch the numbers closely, so you know how many to print out.

She's right. I can't comprehend voting for Warnock or Fetterman. I can understand voting democrat (as contrary to reason as I feel it is), but not voting for either of those candidates. People are stupid, or there is cheating.
I can understand why they voted for those two when the quality of their opponents are so bad. Oz is a carpet bagger from New Jersey trying to buy a senate seat and sold out to drug companies while on TV, so he would definitely sell out in the Senate. Walker is the most under qualified person running in any state and he struggles to articulate any policy. Fetterman isn’t great but can at least write his thoughts down. Walker can’t even do that because he does not understand basic civics. Honestly blame the GOP primary voters because they chose poor quality candidates.

I don’t know what my fellow Americans are thinking. I volunteer at an assisted living facility and also at a food pantry and clothing barn. We are seeing people looking for food and clothing that we wouldn’t normally see under better economic circumstances. My question is, how far gone do we have to go before my fellow Americans see the mess we are currently in. Sad in New Hampshire.😢
