      I recommend watching something else. Bunch of lies and bias plays here. Just so you know, herodotus is also called the father of lies. His tales don't make sense in some areas. So take it with a grain of salt.

      That’s a huge reason why we’re here. We can learn a lot about Athens based on how they describe their contemporaries, and how they misconstrue events.

    So why did Aeschylus called him Darius the great king?

      He was known widely as Darius the Great. He was defeated by the allied greeks but he also expanded the Persian empire and most effectively he instituted economic changes with a single currency, divided the empire into more managable satraps and built a lot of infrastructure. Aeschylus seems to openly admire some aspects of persian civilisation and he wasnt the only athenian to do so. Aeschylus himself was a veteran soldier in the wars against persia, fighting darius' army at Marathon.
