Hey, Bae!!! I know what you mean about your mom. It can be difficult. And you have to remember, forgiveness is never for the other person. It is for you. ‭Matthew 6:14-15 ESV‬
[14] For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, [15] but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. This Bible verse helps me. And you do NOT have to have the person in your life after forgiveness. You just no longer get angry or upset hearing their name or seeing them. You still hope they will be well. I remember reading something that stuck with me, unforgiveness is like swallowing poison and waiting for the other person to die. And forgiveness is not easy, I have trouble with it. But it is possible! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. 😊😊🩷🩷
