My 3 favorite ETFs if I were to start over with investing as a complete beginner:
1. SPY - Tracks the S&P 500, top 500 US companies
2. QQQ - Tracks the NASDAQ 100, top 100 US technology companies
3. SCHD - High quality dividend-paying companies
Again, these are what I'm investing in and what I'm comfortable with. You can see what fits your own risk tolerance.
I know I'm a "boring" investor and don't have these specific stocks that will 100x your portfolio in a week. I'm a firm believer of growing wealth responsibly and developing good wealth habits for the long term.
I also like ETFs because they allow me to diversify my portfolio.
Let me know what other topics you want me to talk about!
I hope this video makes investing less scary.
Thanks for all the support! :)

Exploring crypto trading has proven to be a superior choice compared to stocks. With the potential for higher returns, 24/7 market access, and innovative opportunities, crypto trading offers an exciting and dynamic investment landscape. A special thanks to Loraine Souvenir for her invaluable guidance and support in navigating this thrilling market!
I've just looked up her full name on my browser and found her webpage without sweat, very much appreciate this
It's unexpected to come across her name here. She understands every beginner’s intention and fix you to a trading course that matches your capacity, she knows her stuff! Her advice has been invaluable to my trading journey. Definitely worth giving a shot!
It's truly refreshing to see a comment about Loraine Souvenir. I've also had the pleasure of working with her for several months after discovering more about her online. She has a knack for simplifying complex issues, whether it's a market surge or decline. Her approach consistently keeps you ahead of the curve. I'd call her a guru, for sure
Investing has proven to be an incredibly beneficial decision. My cryptocurrency profits continue to play a substantial role in growing my overall wealth, reducing my reliance on my salary
Best thing that happened to me last year that I can attest to is the progress I have made so far on trades. Venturing into crypto was my best decision ever I know more is yet to come 2024
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Miller.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Charlotte Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
QQQ can also be replaced with QQQM for the lower expense ratio but it’s a relatively newer fund
👍
I've just begun learning about value investing, and I've found that many good stocks are undervalued despite their intrinsic value. If you had $200,000 to create a strong investment portfolio, which stocks would you choose?
I think a good investment portfolio should have three basic things: ETFs for diversification, dividend stocks for cash flow, and leading tech stocks. With your budget, it's a good idea to talk to a fiduciary financial advisor for expert advice.
I agree with you. As an early investor in NVDA, AVGO, ANSS, and LRCX, my financial advisor's advice was incredibly helpful. Over the past 7 years, she has helped me find stocks that did 10x multiple times. With her help, I've grown my portfolio to over a million dollars.
I'm glad I found this conversation. I have cash to invest but am worried about picking the wrong stocks. Can you refer me to your financial advisor?
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations since this is an online forum and everyone situation is unique, but I've worked with "Melissa Elise Robinson" for years and highly recommend her. Look her up to see if she meets your criteria.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
This is a perplexing economy. Some people claim that this is the strongest economy ever, and I am aware of what it took to bring our economy back from the abyss of a pandemic to its current position as the strongest in the world. However, not everyone shares this opinion, and I want to focus on the finances today rather than the politics and emotions that surrounded the issue.
We experienced two straight quarters of negative GDP growth on July 28, 2022. All of a sudden, after a year of walking in the rain, you realize that you are wet.
The first three businesses that instantly came to mind were Dixon This pertains to the company's complete details in the Pro Investor membership. If you haven't already, glance out *Leah* *Foster* *Alderman* to view the Pro Investor membership. It's there that she discusses the membership. The goal of the entire procedure is to provide you with one stock from every sector in complete detail so you may do your own study of businesses from other industries. Investing in bitcoin offers numerous benefits, such as a promising future. You are no longer the victim of theft.
I purchased 10K USD worth of Boden at.03 USD, but it's now.06 USD, lol. I'm holding this one until the elections in November 2024, when I believe it will hit 1-2 USD and have a huge effect on her when searched.
The token, XAI65K$, is mine! Fantastic play; excited for the remainder of this bull run!
ARK innovation ETF(ARKK) seems to be doing well, with holdings in innovators like Tesla and zoom.
ARKK is a great way to get exposure to disruptive and next-tech.
It's true tech stocks are doing well but don't forget to diversify, tech stocks are volatile and the industry is really competitive
@@GibsonJames-gr3on true but the upside is usually worth the risk.
I like the Vanguard information technology ETF (VGT). It's diversified and has many big tech names
@@TheDuke792 VTG is really good, it has a low expense ratio and tracks the tech sector well
My portfolio doesn’t just cater to dividend stocks. I hold $VFIAX (S&P 500 index fund) in my Roth IRA and $VTI (Total Stock Market ETF) in my taxable brokerage account. Two of my largest holdings. The individual dividend stock positions all complement the index holdings.
Diversifying with $VFIAX and $VTI is smart. It’s financial independence, not dependency, that truly empowers.
If you lack market knowledge, your best bet is to seek advice or support from a consultant or investing coach. Contacting a consultant may sound simple, but it's how I've managed to stay afloat in the market and increase my portfolio to roughly 60% early this year. It is, in my opinion, the best way to get started in the industry right now.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financlal future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?
''LUCIA ALICIA CRUZ'' is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
I appreciate this share. I set up a call with her and I am keen on getting to talk to her particularly. Lady looks really great though even with the exams and other stuff.
Very good choices. I have similar: VOO, QQQM and SCHD. Congrats on your account work at this time, good luck on the performance in the future.
VOO, QQQM, split SCHD-DGRO 50/50. Add VGT to it. You’re welcome
Thank you. Excellent advice! 😊
🙂
Are your etf investments in your brokerage acc? Would it be redundant to invest in qqqm in my brokerage and roth ira?
Thanks for the video
Replace SPY with either VOO, IVV, or SPLG for the lower expense ratio
👍
@@CalltoLeapwhat does lower expense mean
@jdone7619 it's the amount per year that the company or stock takes from your profile. Just to keep up maintenance pretty much. If you have a higher expense ratio, you're going to be giving the stock or company more from your portfolio in a nutshell.
@@OrionAllenOfficial thank you so where can I find that information about the stock
@jdone7619 just view the stock go to where it says statistic, it will say things like "52 week high" "52 week low" "open" "close" "volume" and there will be one that says "expense ratio". You can also just Google "expense ratio of __" it'll pop up.
Thank you for the episode. Please keep making more helpful content
Thanks! Glad you're finding it helpful.
What is the most your keep in cash for emergency fund? I’m nervous as a homeowner as if roof leaks / furnace goes / etc that’s an easy $10-15k so 3-6 months doesn’t work for me. Is 30k or more worth keeping in HYSA?
Great content 👍🏼
Happy you like it!
Can someone tell me which application is the best to buy ETFS in bangkok thailand? Please
Thank you Steve.
🙂
nice video! Wonder if you can let me know what video software you are using to share screen?
How do pick buy and invest in efts and index funds? On an app like webull or on a site like fidelity?
I prefer Fidelity or Schwab
Hi Steve, what do you think about SWPPX?
Isn't 100% in the US market a little too risky? perhaps some international stocks would be an interesting choice for diversification considering the fact that we are not sure whether or not the US will lead the market in the future
what do you guys thinks?
Hello i have one question all in one? or a buy separately?
Thank you ❤
👍
Why did you go with SCHD but not SCHG? Thank you
What app are you using to monitor your ETFs? I'm a beginner getting ready to start the journey
I use Fidelity
@@CalltoLeapwhat are your thoughts on Robinhood?
I’m investing in VOO, VTI , SCHD and SPY should I drop one of them ?
Thank you.
Is your account a roth or a taxable brokerage account with these three ETFs
How long did it take you to get to a million? Can you do a video showing how you did it? Thank you
Utility/power look pretty interesting with surge in AI demand there going to be huge increase in demand for electricity with crazy computing needs. Anyone see stuff NVidia sell to its customers?
Good video. I would use QYLD instead of QQQ for NASDAQ.
👍
Completely different type of fund.. just no.. and I hold QYLD too
Great channel.. I just hit $950k in my 401k, have $25k Roth .. I have no ETFs… what would you recommend in terms of my age to allocate $30k to invest ? 10k in each etf to start or all 30k in one etf ? (This would be repeat annually)
Thoughts on JEPQ
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.
6pm is crazy 😭😭
For me I'm doing VOO, Chat ETF ( Generative Ai), SMH (Semiconducter ETF), WCBR( Cybersecurity) . I currently have 127 shares in Nvidia. Im thinking os selling 80% of that and moving it to those 3.
👍
Do you buy over and over again the same stock ?
More or less!
HI Steve
best platform to buy ETF
How did you amass a 1 mil portfolio at such a young age? Can you give details or refer us to one of your videos? How much were you investing
I invested all the extra income I made from tutoring into stocks & ETFs
Hey Steve where are they how do we start call them or what the etf's?
Geez 🤣 Have you heard GOOGLE bro??
If you have a large sum of money to invest and just want it to grow should I use this strategy or have a bank manage the money
Always do what you're most comfortable with 🙂
VOO IS THE same AS SPY?
they both track sp500 with minor differences around 99% overlap
I bought QQQ this morning and I noticed that stock market is closed on Thursday. Could you please tell me why they close on Thursday?? Maybe I’m wrong
It was independence day holiday on Thursday. So stock market was closed. You can buy during any weekdays this week. By the way market will be open only between 9:30 AM to 4 PM Eastern Time. If you are in West Coast, it will be open from 6.30 AM to 1.30 PM.
Is your 1 million portfolio in a Roth IRA? Or taxable brokerage account ?
Wondering the same thing.
Bond
QQQM is better
Im no put like .. I wil be put like after
This is one of my favorite channel Thanks for breaking it down!! I appreciate you for the time being spent to educate us financially. I'm glad I can still smile, I'm really happy for today. I finally got my profit of $11,000 on my little investment of $2,000 in few weeks with the help of Miss Bridget Thompson after feeling so ecstatic and heavy minded that nothing good can come out of it.
Can I start with less then $2000?
The stock market has beens unfavorable for months and I keep losing money selling off during dip, I am very scared of holding now, how do you still make so much?
This sounds so good and I would like to be part of this, is there any way I can reach her.?
she's mostly on Telegrams, using a user name
FXBridget
☝️
Nobody can afford those etfs
fractional shares...
I believe the person giving out a WhatsApp number is not Steve. Beware
Woo 500$ a share 😂
最高素晴らしいかった👍👍👍
I'm favoured $130k every 4 weeks! I now have a good house and can afford anything and also support my family
Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly?
I'm 37 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Yeah, since meeting expert Brisa, I now agree that with an expert managing your portfolio, the rate of profit high, with less risk.❤❤
I will advise you stop trading on your own if you keep losing. And i don't trade on my own anymore, I always required help and assistance
Venturing into crypto as a newbie was very difficult due to lack of experience which resulted in loosing funds..... But Brisa Richardson, restored hope shes a good woman
