I've met quite alot of British people. I worked in the restaurant/bar business for 15 year's. The most common comment about American's I received is that they couldn't believe how nice we are and how friendly we could be. One couple said they hadn't slept in one hotel since they arrived. For 2 weeks they had been housed and fed by complete strangers and showed around America basically for hospitality sake. It's funny because I don't think it would be the same for an American over there.

0:44 ik no cares but the reason for the bricked up windows is that under a certain king/queen's rule (can't remember which) it was made that each window in a house would be an extra tax for the person as the crown/gov needed more money. This caused people to brick up windows as to avoid the tax

As someone from Britain, I do admit there are those annoying people that Americans sometimes stereotype as British people, but most people aren't even like that. Of course you get the handful of chavs or whatever and the ones who don't pronounce Ts, but even so, again it's not everyone. Also, knife crime I guess may be a problem in some areas, but others are perfectly fine - also, as a britt, I have nothing against Americans like some others do
I'm pretty sure you could insert America instead of Britain into your paragraph and it would still be true, which is kind of the point being made. There aren't shootings everywhere you go, and most people aren't like that.

None of us actually care/genuinly hate or judge British people. It's just extremely funny to dunk on u guys, especially lately with the memes on tiktok trending so much.
It only becomes more funny when British people seem to actually get butthurt about it (ie: we joke about ur accent, some British person instantly goes on the attack of 'haha kids being killed' instead of... literally any other joke u can make, like about fat ppl or something and not an actual tragedy)
