    I am struggling with rage and depression. I pretend to be happy around my family and I feel guilty for not being happy. I have a good life and good relationships but on the inside I am screaming. Just glad I know it’s not really me. I want to take an addy but after it wears off I feel much worse. Anyway thanks for the video buddy, V🙏🏼💪🏻

    I totally agree with you about how long until you feel "normal" after u quit this crap! Man I was off this shit for a year and I still felt depressed,lathargic, anxious, restless, agitated and on and on. I broke and I wish I would have stuck it out and let my brain continue to heal but ya can't think about all the failures and just focus on climbing that Mountain again.

    Also suboxone is the strongest antidepressant available on the market. In Europe that is the #1 prescribed anti depressant...also wds are different for everyone on every drug .....but I do enjoy hearing another person clean from suboxone it was a blessing for me to help me discover my issues while taking controlled medicine ...

    Another great video, Gabe! Almost 4 and half months off suboxone!! Can you believe it!? Its like you said...back and forth, back and forth. Luckily for me sleep hasn't been so bad, I just take some unisom and it pretty much knocks me out lol. Physically I would say I feel "normal", maybe a little lethargic and some mood issues but very minor. I don't want to speak too soon because things could change, but I appreciate the fact that i am happy and grateful today 🍂🍁😊🌼

    Dude, I love your authenticity. Thank you thank you thank you for your inspiration. I agree God is a crucial part of my progress as well. When im in the drivers seat, life is easy at first til I crash and burn. When I give God control, I have a peace about things, and while life may be hard, Im entrusting my path to the one who invented life and knows how to guide me through. Im still on subs but looking to get off no later than Feb or March of next year. I know I can do it with Gods help abd the help of good company. Again thanks for the videos. We love you brother.

    I wish there was a button you could press, to take you back how you felt day 1 day 2 day 3, then bring you back to where you are now, you would literally feel HIGH from being normal.

    How do you know that what lingered, was in fact lingering symptomes from suboxone and not, let's say symptomes of benzo withdrawal? You have been tapering benzos this whole time correct?

    • @gabemccall3523
      @gabemccall3523  Před 3 lety

      It’s cause I know what Suboxone wd and paws feels like and I know what getting off Benzos feels like. definitely a difference.

    I’m feeling like crap now that I’m on a lower dose. All it takes is a little piece more than what I’m supposed to take and I feel better. But what about tomorrow and the next day? I’m so stupid. I can ask my doctor to put me back on my normal dose but I ordered a bunch of supplements and God wants me to do this. I want to please God and being on subs is not pleasing to God

  • @michaelyiannett4515
    @michaelyiannett4515 Před 3 lety +1

    Gabe I'm wondering if the length of time it's taken had something to do with the damage done to the brain and not purely to do with suboxone? I mean do you think if you had been on heroin or methadone for 10 0r 20 years that you would have had the same long recovery? I know the initial acute symptoms would be different but do you think the paws would have lingered as long? Or do you believe suboxone is a different beast entirely?

  • @theKaufmanTapes
    @theKaufmanTapes Před 3 lety +1

    Let’s not forget about baseline depression. We used because of our depression to begin with. Suboxone withdrawal causes severe depression, and after quitting we go back to where we started off.. . but yeah. Don’t think about it and distract yourself as much as you can. And of course, pray for God’s mercy.

    At a year clean and I'm still so tired and still a tiny bit depressed, like I can just tell I'm not as happy as I used to be, but I still feel pretty good. At 15 months did you finally start to feel better no depression and fatigue?

    • @gabemccall3523
      @gabemccall3523  Před 3 lety

      I wasn’t feeling great at one year. If u watch my 1 year video I wasn’t feeling very good. I’d have good days and bad days for sure. Yeah 15 month mark things were just kinda gone. You’ve done an incredible job. It’s not easy at all. But.... it’s soooo worth it!!! It’s all about endurance as u know coming this far. Your getting very close to the end. Keep doing all the right things and bring it home earlier. Exercising and eating right help soooo much! Your gonna get your energy back and more ok. I got tons of videos on this very topic. Recent ones even. Monday will be 2 years for me and I’m making a video. Your seriously doing amazing and I’d love to mention you in a video coming up if u don’t mind? God bless you!

      This is an interesting question / topic. I have been off suboxone for 13months and I have been having BAD digestive issues. Diagnosed as silent reflux. Do you care to share what kind of digestive issues you both had/have?

  • @drewbrush9693
    @drewbrush9693 Před 3 lety

    When discussing the suboxone you need to mention 1)what was your dosage when you stopped for example 1-8mg or 2-8mg a day and so on...I was on opiates for 5 years and suboxone for 10 years and I can tell you step by step how I quit and quit to ensure my sobriety and have the least amount of WDS.

      @@gabemccall3523 I've seen quite a few of em my only recommendation is when discussing this topic is to kind of throw that info into it as well because someone who stumbles across it may be watching your video for the first time.....other than that I do enjoy your info on quitting the horrors out there that are still being masked by the government and pharmaceutical companies...
