Bishop Cornelius Korir laid to rest

Thousands of mourners today attended the burial of the late Catholic Bishop of Eldoret Cornelius Korir at the Sacred heart Cathedral. The ceremony also attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta saw political and religious leaders mourn the fallen prelate remembering him for his peace initiatives. President Kenyatta promised to do all within his power to ensure peace thrives even as he cautioned political opponents to stick to constitutionally laid out procedures and institution to address concerns they may have.
