    I would love to hear what you think! Any thoughts on what makes one of these brokerages better over the other?

    I started officially as a buyer's agent with KW and although I loved the trainings and culture of the office place, I can agree that it can be a distraction. I am very grateful for the humble beginnings with the brokerage... I ended up taking some time away from the business to work on physical and mental health.... not wanting to talk to people isn't a good feeling to have in Real Estate (lol) but now that I am back and stronger than ever, I feel eXp is a good next step for me.... postcovid lifestyle doesn't make sense to go back to the old brick and mortar model. This is the future, like it or not

    AJ, I respect the time, effort and energy you put into your video. And I get that the goal is to recruit new agents, but it feels to me like this video is less even-handed and balanced than it could be. I know that I would be much more effected by hearing the pro and cons of both sides. In every profession I know, recruiting those that will "survive" and then "thrive" has everything to do with ensuring they are excited about the "good" and willing to work to overcome the "bad." I'm sure you would rather dedicate your time to recruiting those most likely to thrive at EXP and stay in your pyramid/down-line and recruit for years to come themselves, right? It's a good, professional video. You obviously put in solid time in writing, practicing, and executing your script, honestly it shows that you prepare well and were trained well. Additionally, that view is stunning behind you...I trust that your solid production skills displayed in this video benefit your real estate clients in the staging and marketing you execute to get them top dollar. Absolute best of luck with your recruiting efforts, but I genuinely believe (and this is not shared by all my KW brothers and sisters) that genuine talent is attracted to genuine leadership i.e. sharing the good with the potentially bad. Again, good luck!

      Hey, thanks for the thoughtout message. This was actually shot real quick in my backyard with some general thoughts I had on the two. I would be curious to hear what your point of view is on KW that I missed. I produced at a high level at both firms and don't think I missed anything important.

    Watch out for these brokerages! Even if you don't help a single person buy or sell a house, brokerages still expect you to pay hundreds of dollars in coaching fees. Training and coaching isn't free. It's very expensive to be a realtor. You're constantly spending money on marketing, coaching, and association dues. And if you're a new agent, with hardly any leads, this is not a situation to be in. This is why so few people last in real estate. They run out of money trying to make money! It's a sales/commission only job for someone who already has a high-paying job to support their real estate business AND a strong network of associates, friends, and family.

  • @sajero2
    @sajero2 Před 3 lety +7

    If you get paid when people below you sell a home, isn't this an MLM? It sounds like Beachbody, Lularoe.... all of those pyramid schemes. That makes me hesitant to work with someone from eXp. I was just looking up what it was because I wanted to work with someone with eXp but if this is Mary Kay/Avon/Lularoe but for real estate... not sure about that.

    • @agentattraction
      @agentattraction  Před 3 lety +9

      That's a great question. However, this is literally how all real estate brokerages work. When an agent sells a home the person "above" them gets paid.

    • @purplemonkeys11
      @purplemonkeys11 Před 3 lety

      Think of it like a royalty fee. For example, if you wanted to use Nike in a promotional video you need to pay the company for using their branded logo because that logo is what is honestly generating attention. This is the same with a real estate firm or brokerage, when you work for eXP you are using their branding that other people specifically go for when they want to sell their home. You are essentially benefiting off the brand name of the firm or the person you are working under which is why you would have to pay them sort of a royalty.

    • @daleajimal8513
      @daleajimal8513 Před 3 lety +1

      EXP basically takes half of the cap ($8000) and distributes it back to it's agents. I like this model because it's way less competitive and you want to see your partners succeed as do the agents you sponsored me so there is so much sharing going on eg. live classes. It's a win win. Also, you don't have to attract agents at all, just stick to selling real estate as EXP has some of the most top producing agents in North America and guess what... they are all approachable and available if you wanted to reach out to them! Remember we are a real estate company first, the agent attraction (not recruiting) is something you can do on the side or not do at all. But really why wouldn't you? Reach out to me anytime at dale@forsalebydale.ca. Best wishes.

    • @PerkulatorTime
      @PerkulatorTime Před 3 lety +2

      That's the entire real estate business for any company. You can't be a broker for 2 years, you literally are forced to be "under" someone and make them money by you making sales. With EXP you have that opportunity to have residual income rather than rely on only sales of your own.
