    Fantastic results, in only 20 minutes, UNO Protect is a stellar product. I'd say you have the Professor of Polish, teaching the Teacher. I really like the direction you are heading in with these videos, educational, imparting product knowledge and techniques, and small things like what to watch out for in and around the spoiler. Also seeing a whole car done is awesome, you get so much from seeing the different areas worked, and seeing the end result on a whole car makes a huge difference, you really get a sense of what the product can do.

    To Gabe's defense on the sock thing, which Levi's reaction to was hilarious, prior to buying my 15 f150 Lariat in 2018 I was the armour all wipe and car wash brush from walmart guy. Had absolutely no knowledge of detailing and how to properly wash and take care of a vehicle the right way. Have yet to actually pick up a polisher and get my feet wet in paint correction but im getting there.

    Great video.
    I’ll have the opportunity to use this product either late this week or next week at work. I’m looking forward to it.i have both the same Rupes pad you were using and some Rupes medium cut wool polishing pads.
    My polisher is the same as the one you’re using in the video.i love that thing.after over 30 years of using a rotary polisher everyday the mkIII is really enjoyable to use.
    I have to use a roller stool when I polish the side panels because I’m 60 and I had meniscus repair surgery on one of my knee 3 years ago so I can’t walk on my knees or sit on my heels like I use to.

  • @Invincibility550
    @Invincibility550 Před 3 lety +13

    Thanks for the video. I really enjoy these types of real world, time-saving workflows-a lot of great info. But respectfully, the whole car with one pad? I don't use Rupes wool pads so forgive me for talking out of school, but if it performs like most pads, it pretty much quit cutting halfway through the right side of the car. You can blow it out but it's still soggy and saturated with product and debris. We didn't get to see the actual correction (I know, enhancement), before and after, up close with a light, and the finished car looked good, but wouldn't swapping pads dramatically improve the correction with a minimum time penalty?
    Also, sorry if I missed this, but is BeadMaker a much better sealant than Uno Protect? Why replace one for the other? Thanks again for the video. Please continue to make more "working detailer" vids. Really appreciated.

    good demo, but would also be interested in what else can be used with Uno, other than BM, so it lasts longer (prep is key, i know), best i can get out of it in Scotland is 3-4 weeks (personal car). Other decent ceramic spray sealants should have more longevity, like Angelwax Enigma QED/Ti22 Titanium Spray Sealant, Adams Ceramic Spray Coating, CarPro Reload, Gyeon Cure, Sonax S&S, TW Seal & Shine (US)/Hybrid Sealant (UK), WOWO Crystal Sealant and my current fav, Meg's HCD. 😁😁😁
    I've been doing tests with Enigma QED, BeadMaker, Meg's HCD and TW Hybrid Sealant, they all do well other than BeadMaker, it needs a boost/reformulated to lift it up (or used as part of a blend to make a super sealant mix). Who knows what other cool products are due to be released in the next year. 🤞🤞

    @retardedfolks Před 2 lety

    The only questions I have are why would you not put new product onto the pad with every panel? I thought products like uno protect breaks down into a polish as you buff. So if you start on the fender with fresh product and work it to the rear door, by the time you reach the door the product isn't cutting nearly as efficiently as it was on the fender because by that time the product has been broken down. I get that even if the product has been broken down the blue wool will still do correction work on its own, but I think the finished product would be a bit better if product replacement on the pad was done more often.

    • @retardedfolks
      @retardedfolks Před 2 lety

      Also, I like spreading the product all over the panel beforehand either by pressing the pad all over or running it over on speed 1 before switching to 4 that way there is unspent product all over before I work the panel. Everyone's got different methods, that's kind of how I do it personally but I will definitely use your method here to bang out a car quick. Hopefully I'll get a response, either way, take care and thanks for this content.

      That sealant is terrible to begin with also you’re going a bit fast

    So would you recommend ceramic coating this car after this enhancement ?

    I’m not sure I understand, why replace the sealant in Uno Protect with Beadmakers ? Isn’t UnoProtect a better sealant ?

    I appreciate the tutorial. I think that definitely did improve the paint a smidge. I'm honestly blown AWAY that people would pay for this service. Honestly if I'm paying for a polish, I'd want more defect removal.... this seems a tad too fast.

    • @dustin3700
      @dustin3700 Před 3 lety

      The hand speed was to fast and not enough pressure use used but then again he doesn't have experience, other than that he did a good job. Rupes yellow and sonax perfect finish, a tad spendy* but with a good technique its works on most paints.

      @ahmadabboud1535 Před 3 lety +1

      I usually perform a service like this but with a slightly slower arm speed for people that just want an enhancement and cant afford a stage one correction. I sell my paint correction on a good, better best basis. Good being an all in one with a fast arm speed, better is stage one correction, best is stage two. Most of the population have untrained eyes that cannot see swirls and scratches the way detailers can and just want the paint to look shinier, which is the entire point of an enhancement detail. Plus these sort of packages make detailers more competitive towards the carwash fans who have a heart attack when they hear the cost of a stage one or two paint correction. AIO's definately have a role in detailing

    Why not just use the Uno pure polish ? Isn't it the same as the protect but without the sealant in it ?

    • @STILLNIGHTPEARL
      @STILLNIGHTPEARL Před 2 lety

      Exactly, if I’m going to add my own protection after then I’ll just use a pure polish. You’re literally defeating the purpose of an AIO.

      Dingus Kahn Awesome! Keep it up! This was to show others in various parts of the world that you can be efficient and still make money. I’m proud of you that you are able to receive that for a wash and clay and AIO!👏🏻👏🏻

      joseph mitchell depends on your area. Charge an extra 50-100 for the wash process. And add this to the exterior as an upsale! Or if your in a lower income area this is a great price point to start at for customers that makes the biggest difference!

      Ya just wondering. I'm all for detailers making more money. I've the noticed the more you charge the more reputable you appear to the right people. And when you come down to meet peoples low pricing your work isn't good enough either making it a waste of time. I've been yellow pad hyper polishing at 400 to 800 bucks but thats a longer work time. Keep up the good work gents!

    • @tdawg719
      @tdawg719 Před 4 lety +1

      Manuel Lara yeah makes no sense to use a AOI Polish with a sealant only to use a different sealant. Might as well use a dedicated polish and get better results and then put a sealant on over it if you’re going to use two products.
