  • We took our ex TV, Me.109's out to fly this morning, was quite windy and crosswind on the runway, hence the belly landing wheels up, but here's a taster of what you'll see tonight, 9th September at 8 pm ( UK)

I put the identity politics of the programme to one side, though I do think valuable comments were made about the make up of BoB pilots and squadrons, and enjoyed the flying and the cameraderie of all those who took part in the show.

And just how did the Germans lose the Battle of Britain so badly, when they CLEARLY had full access to all the British RT ???

Are you able to tell us what make the models are? They look similar to the durafly models.

The Bf 109s seem to have rounded wingtips (like the models F and G), but the planes used in the Battle of Britain were model E (or “Emil” as Adolf Galland refers to them in his book) which had squared-off wingtips. (This comment shows I spent too much pocket money on plastic model kits when I was a child: In the 1970s, Airfix made a kit of the G variant, and Matchbox made the E variant).

@@jerry2357 Messerschmitt 109 seems to have G-models wing (wheel bulges!) and cockpit canopy framing.
In this video "Oberleutnant" is loitering around the British countryside. "Verdammt noch mal, wo sind die Schpitfeuers?"

A decent and entertaining show overshadowed by the sjw identity politics wedged in. We had shelly the trans bloke/woman, the Sikh guy going on about pilots in turbans , the Chinese guy who is nervous because when he was a kid there were skinheads outside a chip shop and a crippled fella. Not to mention that the RAF model pilots/planes were just called the RAF whilst the Germans were consistently referred to as 'the model Luftwaffe'.... We know they are models, would calling them just the 'luftwaffe' be seen as offensive? Joke.
