I've recently seen some comments asking if you have to sign up to legend league to get legend trophies and the answer is no you don't. As long as you're above 5000 trophies at the end of the season you'll get the banner inside your profile.
I'm close to 5k, I'm a th10 and season ends in a week or so. My question is should i sign up or buy a week shield aalnd hit legends and wait for the season to end? Will I get the banner without signing up?
I’m pretty certain all that has unfortunately changed… I didn’t get my trophies for this last season. Might be a game glitch, or just that you simply have to sign up in order to get your trophies now…

@@pawnchek I was noob attacker when I was at th 9 and I reached only champion 3 league when th 11 was peak th and now I think I have improved quite a lot and reached legend previous season and got 11 legend trophy with th 12

And due to excitement I signed up and destroyed in second when entered legends league. And now I'm TH12 I didn't even try but reached legends league like no sweat. Pushing as TH9 is really skill without help of siege machine.

Yeah my best season on my profile is 4934 from September 2017 as a th9, made it to 4896 in March 2016 but wasn't quite able to become one of the first th9 legends, then to 5238 in September 2017 but didn't maintain it. But I can confirm that you just need to finish in legends league, which could be a low as 4901

Then you'll have to face legend battle against maxed th15s . If you sign up in 8:00am(Helsinki time) then you get full 8/8 attacks and defense. If you win attack you get -14 to-16 trophies, if you loose you get -2 to -3 trophies. But in defense you get like -40 for each defense cause those th15s gonna smash you. You're lucky if someone doesn't attacks you base showing mercy♥️ and that's rare .

He mentioned that he was going to afk for a few days in the video and you/he could buy the 1 day guard if you're only waiting for the 5 hrs before season is over.
This is actually the best pushing army for th9. Most of time pushing you will only find electro dragons, regular dragons or balloons in the clan castle.
@@Sturge Not the best army, i know what i'm saying (i maintain legend league more than half of year straight). It's a good army, but not perfect. Most of time - yes. Safe army - army that can make every bad situation normal. With this army you can't walk deep in lot of bases, you can lose your queen by cc in some cases and etc. When you maintain high league, you no more search for these 30+ cup whales, you attack the bases that you can attack (efficiently and faster to search). This is why advanced queencharge requires to take jump and more freezes: you have to go deep in base and deal with single inferno towers.
I don't understand how you are not being offered 40 trophies per attack. Isn't that how it works? 8 attacks per day max, 40 trophies offered for each attack?
Before masters league it tooks around 5 to 10 min to find a base in which you can easily do 2 star. But after champion it becomes very harder as we get mostly th11 bases and Max th 9 bases but getting of whale trophies increases and it will took you around 15 to 20 min.

I think, this army is very unsafe and, for example, you wouldn’t take two stars in last attack if defender had better cc troops.
