Great review of the coffee. In the last few weeks I have watched your new videos from Puerto Vallarta, Hawaii, and now back on the Costa Blanca in Spain. Those are three of the most beautiful places on earth. I am curious as to how you afford to maintain your lifestyle, do you have a job in Spain? Are you making that much money from these great You Tube videos? Gracias.

Thank you. I'm not allowed to work in Spain with the visa that I'm on. We have passive income that we live off of.

Enjoy your videos. We spent a month in Fuengirola, and Malaga. Loved it. Left Canada in Sept 2023 - been in Spain, Poland. In our 40s, and i work online. My wife finds it lonely, and misses family and friends and "routine.." of our old life. How do , or did you have such adapting problems ?

Thank you. We did struggle with that on the Costa del Sol more than in Benidorm. There are a lot more clubs and social groups to participate in here in Benidorm. When we were in Fuengirola we found we had the same issues lonely and missing routine. The thing that worked for us is getting involved in the local community.

If youre looking for a nice spot to buy property I can recommend Mil Palmeras (south costa blanca). My family have had a property there since 1984. Beaches in the area are fantastic. Regards from Stockhom Sweden

Im also canadian. Live in thailand for about 6 years, also bounced back to canada a few times to work. Been wondering why you didnt pick Alicante?

I prefer a smaller more walkable city. I like to have a large city close by, but not to live in

when moving from Andalusia to Benidorm, wasn't there wealth tax to consider? Anadlusia has none, whereas Alicante region has, can you talk about the topic? Thanks

The wealth tax is something to consider. I would suggest running a tax simulation with a tax professional in Spain, as it can get quite complicated. It's a good idea to run a tax simulation even if the wealth tax is not an issue. The housing in the Alicante region is much more affordable than in areas of the Costa del Sol which was a factor in moving. I might look into making a video on the topic with a tax professional.
