- This song was sung by my mother, Smt. N. Lalitha Bhanu, now 83 yrs., earlier known as Ganabhooshanam N.Lalitha, in malayalam film "Avakashi" (1954) along with other singer Purushothaman.

ഈ സുഖസുന്ദര പ്രണയഗാനത്തിൻ്റെ ശിൽപ്പികളായ തിരുനൈനാർകുറിച്ചി മാധവൻനായർ ,ബ്രദർ ലക്ഷ്മണൻ ,കമുകറ പുരുഷോത്തമൻമാഷ് ,N.ലളിത എന്നിവർക്കും ,ഈ ഗാനം നമുക്കായി കാത്തുവച്ച കാലത്തിനും ,ശ്രീ.ആനന്ദ് ഭാനുവിനും പ്രണാമം.
1953ൽ ലതാ മങ്കേഷ്‌കറും മുകേഷും ആഹ് എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ ഇത് പാടി. രാജ് കപൂറും നർഗീസും അഭിനയിച്ചു. വളരെ മനോഹരമായ ഗാനം 1954-ൽ മലയാളത്തിലേക്ക് വിവർത്തനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.. വാർദ്ധക്യത്തിലും ഓർത്തതിന് ഒരുപാട് നന്ദി.
ഈ ട്യൂൺ ഏത് ഹിന്ദി ഗാനത്തിലേതെന്ന് അന്വേഷിച്ചു നടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു

You are correct ! In the late 50s and early 60s many Malayalam songs were composed with the tunes taken from Hindi songs ! Manasasarassa malar and Chinnum ventharathin etc are few of them !
