- What’s the BEST pressure when it comes to HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy)? Watch this video to find out. ►► Get certified in HBOT: www.thehbotcourse.com
We see a version of this question a lot. Things like:
-How much pressure do I need to use for...
-Is 1.3 ata enough?
-Do soft chambers work?
-What’s the protocol for…
In this video we’ll discuss the continuum of pressure, and how important it is to match the pressure to the patient’s health goals or issues.
As you’ll find out, it’s not cut and dry.
We need to consider our experience, what equipment we have access to (or what equipment the patient has access to), and we absolutely need to consider what the research tells us on best practices to help our patients with their issues or goals.

2.5 to 3x stem cell increase at 1.3 ATA: At the time this video was published, this paper had not yet been made publicly available (Dr. Sonners was given access to a pre-publication version). We’ll update this when it becomes publicly available.

Considering HBOT for my Post Concussion Syndrome Issues.
What would be the pressure ranges used for autoimmune conditions? And if it needs higher pressures, is it possible to achieve same results with mild hbot, just over a longer period of time?
Are there occasions when somebody would need to use pressure lower than 1.3ata and why?
I am buying an HBOT - really at home here 1.3 is pretty standard so hopefully that's enough!
Would you recommend hbot for a person with a childhood healed eardrum patch? No discomfort is felt during planes or in general. Some pain does come up in audiology tests but it settles down.
Hi Dr. Jason, I have mild white matter brain disease. I also own a stem cell business in Costa Rica. I recently bought a used hardshell chamber thats last valve says 2.2 and the one past that says vent. My question is I am trying to do 60 sessions in 90 days. What ATA or PSI should i use to treat WMB disease and anti-aging? I am combining expanded SC and cord blood IV.
What pressure do you suggest for Spinal Dystonia?
Is it OK for a person who has had Stapedectomy (middle ear bone replacement surgery) 2 years back to undergo HBOT?
I have a soft shell chamber that goes to 1.5ATA / 55kpa. I think that is a good compromise between risk and benefits. I mostly use it for sports recovery and definitely feel a difference with 2x75 min sessions a week.
What brand of chamber is this / where were you able to get it?
would be interested to know your brand of chamber, too
@@JK41O1 I’m looking into the brand oxyrevo currently. They have a 1.5 ata soft shell chamber that is pretty affordable compared to others
@@JK41O1 I have replied with the name twice but someone keeps deleting my comment
Same question - what brand of soft side chamber will go to 1.5 ATA?
What pressure would you recommend for autism recovery? We have a home soft chamber max 1.5 ata. My 4 year old son has so far had approx x30 60min-90min sessions(mostly daily where possible). We have seen improvements. We can possibly use higher pressure at a clinic but its 2 hour round trip so not so easy for us. Thanks for your videos..they've helped us get this far!
While we can't give medical advice through CZcams, we can look at some research that's been done (as well as patients we've treated), and there's evidence (and experience) to suggest that low pressure HBOT can help people with autism. Here's an older video where we reviewed some research on the topic: czcams.com/video/CJw5_Qc66ps/video.html
Shoot us an email at support@hbotusa.com to set up a consultation!
We just released a video about applying HBOT to children on the autism spectrum, which you may find helpful: czcams.com/video/8LYH3lFBMsQ/video.html
What pressure kills mold? Various bacteria? Would 2.0 be enough?
we so wish to get it
where ?
how?
What is right psi for brain tumor? I had a scull based meningimoa 36mm. I have nerve pains on one side and ataxia on the other
I’m sorry to hear that! We’re unable to give medical advice on CZcams, but you can set up a consultation by emailing support@hbotusa.com

Hi. I am in a hospital hyperbaric multi chamber. We dive down 45 ft. We breath 100% oxygen for 90 minutes with a 10 min break of fresh air in between. I find it hard to breath the 100% oxygen. Is it or it’s just in my image. Thanks.
Sure that’s probably the most widely used on label l table right? It really should feel any different breathing oxygen or air. It should theoretically feel the same. Maybe the bibs you guys are using has some resistance on it?
Does it help nerves grow back in my feet as I’m type 2 diabetic and my toes are a little numb….
We can't give medical advice on CZcams, but generally speaking, one of the mechanisms of action of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy neurogenesis (healing and developing nerves). Many people with neuropathy find it beneficial. Also, you may find this video we did on HBOT & diabetes helpful: czcams.com/video/20lomWqatKM/video.htmlsi=nBc2S-l8ROWVLAhv
I have Polythysema/ Enlarged Red Blood Cells. Would HBot help me. I'm told I have Low Oxygen levels. That is causing This. I'm on O2 Generator at this Time.
As you can imagine, it's impossible to give specific advice without a patient/doctor relationship where we've discussed your health and conditions as a whole. Everyone's situation is so unique, with multiple variables that contribute to a suggested course of care.
You can contact us at support@hbotusa.com to see if we would be able to help you with your specific situation.
Hey! I do have the same issue.
Have you started your HbOT therapy? Please do respond when you get this. Thank you! It would help me so much.
Thank you
Who can get certified to start the hyperbaric chamber business
I want to open a clinic but i am not a medical technician
I only studied nursing for one year
And have a bachelor degree in business administration
And do you have online courses
Great question! Anyone can get certified, and we offer a one-of-a-kind course to do so. We also have training and support for people who want to provide HBOT in their clinics. Contact us at support@hbotusa.com if you'd like more information.
@HBOT USA can foreigners opt for the course, even if they don't have a medical background? How much is the average cost of setting up an hbot clinic?
I just did a 60 min 1.4 atmosphere for Tinnitus... 1dt session. Another in 5 days onwards.
Dear Drew, thank you for your comment. I am considering a mHBOT chamber with 1,4 ATA for my tinnitus. So I would like to know whether the treatment wit 1.4 ATA worked? Thans in advance! Kind regards! Jan
@@MrCees64 Not for me. Try it though
@drew where were you able to do a session with a 1.4 chamber? Can’t find any clinics with a 1.4 chamber. Or if you bought one, which brand? Thank you
@@somankhan2566 it was a local firm who treat MS. £20 a session
@@Hew.Jarsolhi drew wherabouts did you have this therapy with the ms association. 😊
I would like to know ,why can't they answer people's questions?.
It probably would answer someone else's question ?.
I’m not sure what you mean… I answer people’s questions everyday
This video tells basically nothing solid out there. It says yes, then says no. It looks like it's telling a range of facts, but then asks a question to the viewers instead. My advice is: if you don't have a solid table to talk about, why not bring the topic to another video?
Thank you for watching and commenting
