Like Crazy is inspired by the movie Like Crazy (2011) by Drake Doremus which has a pretty realistic take on the ups and downs in a relationship. The voices at the start of the song is conversation between the protagonists in the movie. He said the movie protrays what looks like a sweet relationship on the surface but tackles real issues a couple might face which ultimately breaks them apart. He said it inspired him on how he was going to present his feelings during the pandemic. My take on the video is that he is lonely, lost and angry ("im going endlessly crazy") during the pandemic , he finds some solace in alcohol ("give me a good ride", and although he wants to stay "lost in the lights") he quickly finds that there is dirt and mud under that glittery surface (notice the response to give me a good ride - he says "im falling"). He finally realizes that this is going to "break (him)" and end leaves not finding the answer in booze and ends with "whats the point". That is my take on the song from bits and pieces I've read from interviews. The next track is Alone where he honestly talks about his feelings and in Set Me Free Pt 2 he asks his demons (doubts, fears, critiques) with the help of some profanity to leave him alone and set him free.

Yes Jimin did say that about drinking when he was on Suga show and I remember Jimin also talking about the inspiration he got from the film Like Crazy. I've seen both those interviews. The 'like Crazy' referrence I believe where the Rolling Stone interview if I remember correctly. I'm sure someone will come along and either confirm it's was the Rolling stone interview or not.
It’s the 80s through and through! I know that sound because I was there! It’s 80s with Jimin’s unique/special twist on it!!! Though this song has a much deeper meaning, It really was such a fun and exciting time, musically, to be a young adult!!! Jimin is a genius! He’s IT for this generation of music!👑🐥💜
it’s about escapism from his troubles but being lonely at the end of it…it didn’t work - the troubles don’t go away. I didn’t get a happy vibe…it was emotionally sad/painful for me.

Where I come from the toilets were often referred to as 'the office' which was code for quick into the loo we need to talk or quick help me out here some guy is eyeing me up I need to lose him lets just get out of his eye site' oh the tricks we girls used to get rid of unwanted attention. It always involved mass exits to the toilets with your girlfriends acting like bodyguards keeping you in the middle of the group.
If you look carefully it's a male and a female but don't know if it just represents 2 people kissing in a club or what. I remember late 80's nightclubs here in the UK sometimes by 2am you'd see the odd couples engaging in a drunken kiss while on he dance floor. So is it simply a general depiction of drunk people kissing on dance floor? Nooo not everyone's on the prawl when at a night club it's often groups of friends just going out to enjoy a night out with their mates.
Mud covering the floor, running down the toilet doors the walls moving away it's all the things that can happen in a dream. They can be fun but dreams are mixed up and one second it's pleasant and it morph's into something wierd or dangerous that's how I see mud.
