    Hi, I am Company Secretary also having LLB degree. I have experience in secretarial and corporate law field with Company of 3 years. I have not registered myself with Bar Council in India.     Mam considering there r lot of immigrant lawyers in GTA area then how do indian law grads fit in the requirements of employer. I mean when immigration lawyers r huge in number then how can we indian law grads get a job in GTA area when supply is already high as compared to demand?

      So this a tricky question and also a lot depends on your practice and potential. I am an immigrant and a lawyer in GTA and have not faced this problem. Now I am even gathering the guts to open my practice. Nevertheless one should never be scared of competition..it is what it is.

    Is perusing JD from US is more fruitful after LLB back in India?
    Because more of investment to each other maybe dual law degree will help? As a whole both are common law countries, federal?

      USA is civil law where as Canada is common law. Now if you have to do law, I suggest do it from a country where you have long term plan.

      I would suggest you to work here in India for 2 years atleast and then check for the possibilities of moving to Canada.

      Hi Drashti, let me tell you that Articling is a tough call to secure. But however, if you wish to take exemption you can do that. You can also think about doing tne law practice program.

      Hi Harleen varies from firm to firm but to find articling in Ontario is itself a daunting task.
