Mike was the soul of the Breaking Bad universe.

I…. Agree… he has the most tragic ending too. Dude didn’t even get to have a dime go to kaylee. All his hard work. Been doing it longer than Saul, Walt, jessie and even the chicken man and all that time put in this criminal world he STILL didn’t get to give a single dime to his family. And he played his cards razor sharp and straight no bs, I guess this just goes to show you that no matter how much knowledge and things you have in “the game” you can get check mated any second. It’s a game of cards and Walter was the wild card.

Sadly he only died because he damaged Walt's fragile ego.
I always get a bit depressed when I watch the scene in Better Call Saul where he explains to Jimmy why he is doing all this, because everything Mike did was for nothing.
Mike didn't deserve the fate he got. Niether did Nacho or Jesse.
@@WhyTho525 I agree, Mike didn’t deserve it, which is why his demise is so tragic. Jessie got redemption. And a chance to start over. Walt got a chance at redemption and fixing the mess he caused and ensuring his family gets the funds in the process. Saul redeemed himself. But poor Mike… he didn’t know that was the moment he would go until it was too late, he would have tried everything in the world to ensure he could have a chance at saving something for kaylee.

I don't really think Walt really redeemed himself that much like Jesse or Jimmy (I call him Jimmy because Saul was only a coping mechanism).
The only reason wh returned to Alberquerque was because he heard news that Jack and his gang get all the credit for the recipe that HE cooked. At least, in the end, he admitted that he was only doing everything because he loved doing it.
There doesn’t go a day when Mike doesn’t remember his boy

After all, in the last episode of Better Call Saul, when Saul asked about the time machine, he said that he would like to change the day he contacted Crime.
