Ty for showing this. I’ve been looking for one of these. My question is how do you access the storage under the bed being that the platform is hinged and the bed frame is not hinged in the same places?

It lifts fine as far as the hinge/pivot... No issues there. The added weight of the base and the heavier Purple mattress we added did make it much heavier to lift. We added some upgraded struts (150 lbs) and we added handles to help lift it. There are separate videos on our channel for both of those additions. It's definitely a game changer for comfort. We are really glad we added this!!!
