Kob kuhn krap, love the ferries on the Chao Prayah. Also some great rides to be found on the klong water buses, used by Thais who find the trains way too expensive and slow.

Every time we, wife and I , visit BKK we go for a long ride there and back choosing the longest possible route. Not to get anywhere but to experience the river. On one trip there was practice for the king to go on the river so we got a front row seat to that. How cool .
I cannot for the life of me understand why you shot MOST of that showing the passengers, the underside of the ferry roof and guys jumping onto piers to tie off. At the end for a brief moment you turned around and shot THE RIVER FRONTS. I mean why stand on the stern and shoot forward when Bangkok is there on both sides? Bangkok69 nailed it. I see that they have ripped the character and charm out of the river too. I used to go all the way to Nonthaburi every time I hit Bkk, many years, been almost 10 yrs since I did it and sad to see the old family homes gave way to luxury, upscale, new cement boxes with glass :( Anymore it's just another big city. The mall effect.
