Bangkok Pride Festival 2024: A Grand Celebration of Love and Equality
Bangkok, Thailand - The highly anticipated Bangkok Pride Festival 2024 kicked off in grand fashion on Saturday, June 1, 2024, drawing hundreds of thousands of people to witness a spectacular parade and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. The vibrant event commenced at 3:00 PM and continued until 9:00 PM, transforming Ratchadamri Road into a vibrant tapestry of colors, music, and pride.
This year's festival held a special significance as it served as a platform to advocate for marriage equality in Thailand. With the potential legalization of same-sex marriage on the horizon, Thailand is poised to become the first country in Southeast Asia to recognize and protect the rights of LGBTQ+ couples. The festival aimed to raise awareness and garner support for this crucial social change.
The parade route began at the iconic National Stadium and snaked its way through the heart of Bangkok, passing by renowned landmarks such as the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Siam Paragon shopping mall, and Wat Pathum Wanaram. The streets were abuzz with energy as participants and spectators alike danced, cheered, and waved rainbow flags, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration.

    ฝนไม่ตกเมฆบังแดดพอให้ไม่ร้อนมากเกินไป แต่มีปัญหาจราจรนิดหน่อยครับ และชมเจ้าหน้าที่ดูแล ไม่รู้ปีหน้าจะจัดการยังไงได้มากแบบไหน เอาใจช่วย ถ้าเก็บบรรกาศหมดคือ 3 4 ชั่วโมง เพราะผมดูไลฟ์สดหลายที่55 แต่เน็ตเน่าปกติทุกปีเพราะคนเยอะ ขอบคุณสำหรับเก็บตกบรรยากาศครับ
