It's a parody of 70's UK music programmes like 'The Old Grey Whistle Test', where the cameramen were trained to avoid anything of musical interest.

It's all subtle and hilarious.

I really hope this amazing video stands a testament to a return of the days when a musician could bleed from their orifice for their music and bloody well be left alone!

Re the actors, he's been involved with most (if not all) of them in this video in various other projects - Snuff Box, Toast of London, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh. He's an awesome dude and rolls with an awesome crowd.
