You're the only one that keeps complaining about word salad. I recommend you recognize what is known as "mentality". It's different than education or intellect.

  • @SpringRoad-ix2ps

@Archibal - "Help" for the unfortunate is entirely different than what you infer is "help" for the wealthy. If one's fellow man doesn't help an unfortunafe person (perhaps money or mental health) the government that represents all people will lack the impact. Your reply is cute - but our expectations for government and social structures fails the people. Any volunteer that puts his heart into helping will tell you so. 100 yrs ago - people helped others becaise values were different. Now - citizens walk away and expect this thing called the government to care.
We're talking about a different kind of "help". I'm sure your experience with volunteering will align. Of course societal programs are applicable but I'm talking soul.

Whatever software it is that is helping you create this enormous word salad, still doesn't make what has been posted any more truthful.
The government, in particular, the UCP, who does it better than any other government in Canada, is good at blowing billions of dollars on many very costly debacles and mistakes, which now exceed $80 billion.
The UCP are just like the Alberta PCs were, ever since Peter Lougheed was no longer the premier of Alberta, with all the very costly debacles and mistakes that they did.
The UCP has treated the vulnerable and seniors in Alberta with disdain, due to the UCP's senseless cuts to them.
It's perfectly okay for the UCP to blow money on one sided panels and committees, which are stacked with their Conservative friends, and hire 20, or more of their Conservative friends, for pointless positions, which pay in between $100,000 per year, to $250,000 per year, and in certain instances, even more, while the vulnerable and many seniors in Alberta struggle to get by.

That's been his brand - even the haters should be able to recognize that. His political opponents hone in on it - the hair, the socks, the apology tours. The second half of the question is, "...that's not working for you anymore. That's gotta get in your head." Did you miss that part? Where we say his charm doesn't work anymore? You realize that's not a compliment, right? -rpj

At the 8:37 min mark - had to turn this off Jespy to head to the porcelain for stomach purging. I'd like to know how the drama teacher or his staff gathered enough wisdom to force his agenda on his beliefs over the economic and necessary directions of Canadians. Leaders serve constituents. Trudy says "I know". He does not.

Spare us, its a minority government, meaning ANY party can get legislation through easier than ever. Name ONE policy that is so antithetical to 'what canadians want'. Canadians actually want MORE gun control than the liberals have offered, and in polls the majority of canadians were actually fine with FORCING vaccines into people. So don't feed us that.
Not mentioned in media much at all is the fact that for the carbon tax ANY province is free to adopt a cap and trade model like Quebec AND like the conservative party policy has been for the past TWO elections.
So exactly what policies are these you are referring to that dont' represent the canadian people? If its that canadians actually want government doing MORE to increase housing and lower rents then thats pretty opposite to what the conservatives are talking about, so unless you are an NDP supporter then its the liberals or nothing.
The constant claim on social media that might make you think canadians only care about the debt is certainly untrue and almost NO polls ever list debt as even being in the top five or sometimes ten.

You meant to say Danielle Smith. Understanding things, such as that, only comes from being able to vote for many years. Danielle Smith and the UCP don't care about Albertans, and have their own agenda that goes against what Albertans want.

No - understanding comes from paying attention, investigation, willingness to accept the truth and rational common sense. Voting is not a qualification. Understanding does not come from sitting and resentment for being less fortunate. I strongly believe the fortunate should help those less fortunate, but not through politics or government. Relinquish your bitterness my good man. I've seen your comments before and get that you want socialism to be your crutch. I hope somebody helps you.
