I really wish the church would talk more about when sex brings pain. I, like a lot of my female Christian friends, married a man with a lot of sexual history. Being someone that was waiting for marriage, I had no idea the pain I would experience when we were intimate after being married, and I realized he had had this connection with other people before. The church talks so much about the importance of waiting, but not about how to move on and be okay when one of the two in the relationship failed.
