Taking advantage of the rife disorder and insecurity of the late 90s in the eastern region, Bakassi boys were a group of vigilante thugs who partook in extra judicial method of baiting targets, intimidating and threatening, open confrontation to induce confessions, riding in convoy of buses supplied by the local government, they took the law into their hands to harass anyone they target based on public rumours and social profiling. Eddy Nawgus (Deity-that-attends-church-service) unfortunate saga is of a famous spiritual leader while having maintained a clean crime record but had earned him unforgiven enmity with serious local witch doctors who (plotted set-up) see him as a strong contender/nemesis soon caught their interest. From his initial Bakassi-hijacking, political outcry and release by the police (his failure to abscond) and failure of the local government to caution the Bakassi boys on the subject (ego-tripped, saw his continued existence as a challenge) eventually led to the subjects summarily extra judicial body dismembering. Watching from sierra Leone
Watching from Kenya, nice documentary 🇰🇪
So educative, thanks
Thank you for sharing 🙏😊
They killed one innocent boy closed to our house in the village because their neighbour hated the boy .they butchered him and burnt him to ashes, bakasi boys were fake and injustice.
That's terrible for the family.
What made the south east governors had to disband them? - do you think they ran out resources to finance them?...No! The Bakassi boys hidden atrocities was beginning to surmount.
Cap
So sad really thank God it is not happening now
Viewing from North America
Thank you for this narration. I heard about the execution then but didn't know this much.
Davido said ISSAKABA give me your BAKASSI eeh ❤❤❤
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
I'm waiting for Lucky dube story oooh , I really want to know why they killed that talented Man 😢
The killers said in court that they thought Lucky was a Nigerian who was living in South Africa because at that time South Africa was Angry cuz a lot of foreigners where making a lot of money out of their country but I there is more to that
True. They had no idea who he was. They only thought they were robbing a rich Nigerian drug dealer.
@@bambilue1one841 They thought they were robbing King Jide. He has a close resemblance to Lucky Dube.
When are South African men never bitter?
This is a very intelligent analysis.
I enjoyed your video bro, thanks
Your story telling is a top tear🔥🔥🔥☑️
I agree.. definitely top tier content. Thanks Daniel 🤗
I still remember that day like it was yesterday, the most gruesome thing I ever saw as a teenager
For real? You saw it happen ?
I saw it too
Great Analysis and Wonderfully Presented 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. I am kindly asking you to please change the sound of your background. Thank you and God bless🙏🏼🙌🏼
My father told me that when his business was crumbling then, he had to visit eddy, he gave him a growing plant to plant at the back of our house, then, then requested he get a y of his kids, it was just 2 of us then, I and my younger brother, tho he planted the growing plant as instructed which later became a giant tree with thorns on it's body, and the instructed that as the tree keeps growing his wealth will multiply, but he will need to get any of his child, my dad did not take any of us back to him..nothing worked after all.
@hannahcollier5122 I like the sound of the background.
Leave it for us like that 😂🤪🤪
Well done for the analysis.
Love from Namibia
Well said, adding the fact that prof eddy was orthodox in his spiritual practices, making artifacts for protection from evil eyes, observing from both sides, no smoke without a fire somewhere, prof was dirty too emphasizing it God's power, well we'll never know for sure who's truly innocent, but Karma as a way of coming around to everyone's actions. Peace ❤
Many are born with the gift of a seer or prophet. The problem is when that gift is not brought under the subjection of God, but used instead by the evil one. Remembering the story of Balak. He was a prophet, but yet his ways were evil. Many deceivers in our world.
Good job my dear
Yo you are very correct ,,you are more than a forensic investigator...
For the first time in my life, i have the opportunity through this vedio to rethink and question the killing of prophet Eddy. I am beginning to believe that he was innocent. Its a shame that investigation were not carried out before he was murdered.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "HE WAS INNOCENT"? BECAUSE HE DIDN'T KILL YOUR OWN CHILD? MAYBE IF HE HAD KILLED YOUR CHILD OR RELATIVE, THEN YOU WILL CALL HIM GUILTY.
@@njokuugochinyere7394 Do you have evidence
Daniel u are a very good reporter, let me vote now
I grew up to hear the story, am from anambra state
Thank you 💯
Watching from Jamaica ❤,🇯🇲
Oh
You are a real professional journalist.🎉🎉🎉
Only God know’s the true 🤷🏼♀️thank you for the story 🙏🏽
What's he talking bout?
In every rumor/lies, there's an atom of "truth"!
You can't help a criminal and claim to be innocent.
Before bakasi boys Onitsha was a scary town to live in..no night you won't hear gun shots ..in nkpor then we don't sleep...many times u will see a human head on the road very early in the morning.. bakasi boys really calm onitsha oo..some group of thief even write a letter to there next culprit..so you keep something for them .. city was brutal that even police couldn't do anything 😅this same Bakasi killed Derico ...evn if the rumors about the children missing or men killed was false..Eddy wasn't totally a good person...remembering my childhood days😊
Grew up in No 4 New market Road Nkpor junction .......was always rowdy there .thank God we relocated early 96
Exactly wat I said
@@user-uq5vt6pm5dpassing nkpor Junction at night was almost a sure bet you must get robbed..from 7pm your on your own you must be vigilant 😃 it's only those that didn't witness this will say bakasi did nothing.. even as a child to thief meat inside pot was scary 😂 so they won't jam you with there machete
The bakasi boys were disbanded because politicians and big men started using them to eliminate their competitions. SARS used Juju in their operations
That's exactly what former Governor Mbadinuju did. He used to assassinate Eddie who was his public critic.
@@afrikanheritage99no, Mbadiniuju had no power over this bakasi people from aba, he later formed his own after they left, the fake bakasi
Good story teller.

I ❤ the way you tell your stories 👍🏽
Omo, this got me speechless...
When people believe in the devil, he never let the light shine
When people believe in God demons angels eternal life on all this stupidity those kind of things always going to happen
At the end of the day
There's always a snake in the green grass
Not underrated statement
Men of the world ,that men in the world are honouring more than God.
Many of this men aren’t sent by God,but sent by some men in the world to come and disturb the world.
May God help us🙏🏼.
Nonsense. There is no god.
Is true, there is no god like GOD ALMIGHTY

You cannot use the wrong means to perpetuate justice. You cannot show love by expressing hate. You cannot do something right in a wrong way. That’s the problem with these type of justice system. It fails because in itself it’s based on fear and wickedness.
Very true
Things are really happening
May God guide us🙏
