The Truth about Tempered glass protectors- They should break easily. Yes that's how they protect the screen. This happened wirh me the glazedinc one is the best it spreads the impact throughout the screen. I once dropped it once and screen didn't break but the glass protector shattered completely.

The main aim of tempered glass protector is to protect the mobile display, not to the tempered glass itself. If it breakes by any way, there is nothing fact. It's just like fuse wire which breaks itself in order to secure the high voltage and current flow.

Tempered glass should break easily they offer something called as sacrificial protection, they absorb all the shock hence protecting them from reaching the screen and break themselves
All the energy due to falling is absorbed into breaking the molecular bonds and hence leading to breaking the glass but protects the screen
The best screen guard will be whose breaking point is nearly that energy which is required for the shock to reach the real screen, hence it wont break until real screen can be damaged due to the shock
In other words it will only break when it knows that it should

Please help! I have a Oneplus 9 pro and all the scratch guards I have used come off around the edges. Please suggest which scratch guard would be okay. The UV type tempered glass I used camse partially off around the edges and the phone was unable to detect touch on the sides. The simple scratch guards also don't stay stuck and come off. I have used local 100 rs tempered glass and now totem screen protector 1000 rs . The difference i noticed is in local glass a lots of scratches and screen’s picture quality gets dull. It does break from sides . But in totem no scratches and screen quality of i phone didnt get affected at all

Why havent you included the X-Glass Ultra and Plus from Gadgetshieldz? Especially when X-Glass Ultra is made of Corning Glass itself (phone screens are made of Corning). The X-Glass Ultra being made of the Corning Glass must be the strongest tempered on the market rn. I use their X-Glass and its pretty solid. I would have loved to see more about its durability on your video!
