Great roadmap for studying magic . My top need to do is interacting. Where I live, I know zero magicians.

How clever - well-taught and fun as well as being very practical.

    Good tool
I tend to think in percentage so thinking in terms whole amount is a good way to reevaluate progress.

Great episode Jeff. It’s an excellent way to assess where you are and where you want to end up. Easy to do periodically to track progress. Thanks!

What a fantastic tool! It will be the first page in each year’s notebook from now on.

This doesn’t help me. I’m all about reorganizing my magic room. Nothing is more important. I can’t seem to practice because I’m constantly thinking about the remodel. I did just get my hardwood floors and new additional book shelves. Now I will have all my books on shelves. Maybe this is a good episode for next year.
I hope you consider coming to our Gateway Close-Up Convention in April in St Louis. Don will be there.

My #1 area to work on is Scripting. And I don’t think we have enough books/resources on developing that skill. Great topic for a new year episode, Jeff, and great method for self development! 🎉

I'm a hobbyist that is mostly interested in learning and practicing. I'm always working on getting out and performing more.
While it's certainly not as in depth as this, I set a magic new year's resolution last year. It was to learn and perform Guy Hollingworth's Reformation and ended up being the first new year's resolution I actually followed through on. I was performing it for people after practicing on and off for 6 months.
I went back and forth on what this year's resolution will be and decided that I'm going to focus on practicing the classic pass for a year. Maybe next year, my resolution will be to learn a Derek Dingle all backs routine with my hopefully new found pass confidence!

It’s a large mix of things, including close-up, mentalism, and some bizarre. Just think of it as a weird, weird mix of magic ideas and routines.
