- In this video I will go over a big oil refinery setup using HBM's NTM that will give out alot of useful fluids like kerosene, is completely self sufficient and can run for an infinite duration without diminishing returns. I hope you guys enjoy the video :)

The crude oil must be at 2 pressure units before being processed. You can use 2 compressors for this.

Hey, Savage. I've got an idea for a video for you. Try creating a highly automated nuclear power plant with multiple reactor units. Use large RBMK reactors (around 15x15). Implement safety and protection systems, nuclear fuel production and disposal processes. Have an electrical substation, and maybe even a railway transportation system for delivering goods and handling waste. There are plenty of other things you can come up with. I think it would be pretty cool.
I am working on such a system but is does not use the RBMK ... rather it works with the big nuclear reactor which is modular. Reason being there is no way to automate the fuel supply and extraction. Also RBMK does require more care while operating. Meanwhile the big nuclear reactor can be totally automated so that is what I'm using to make the big nuclear power plant with substations and fuel processing areas and disposal pools

@@colwee5721 I don't think uranium 239 exists i the mod, there's uranium 238 and plutonium 239 and that can easily be obtained by depleting uranium fuel and recycling it. I have multiple videos on that

(I didn't finish watching the video at the time of writing this, its night for me)
No decoration "yet" , thinking of turning this into either an offshore oil rig or just a normal big oil refinery ... only time will tell.

HBM's NTM is easily becoming one of my new favorite tech mods now that I know how to run half the stuff in it
it's a complete experience in itself, like playing a full modpack in a single mod xd

Could you do an update of the rbmk 1000? Because when I placed the water line under the steam channel rods it wouldn't connect to the rbmk steam Chanell block?
NTM extended is what you need to use, also make sure to set the pipes to output mode using a screw driver. I made a video on RBMK in 1.12.2 you might wanna check that out
Just curious what kind of pc set up do you have?
I have an HP laptop with Ryzen 5 processor and nvidia 1650 vram
also 16 gigs of ram
After about 2 or almost 3 months ago my previous laptop that I had gone complete kaput and shortly after I got a new one and was able to have all of my files transferred since it was pretty much the same one but a little different, so I re-setup my computer and especially Java and Forge 1.7.10, okay, and when I had my mod folder set up (keep in mind I only had the latest version of NTM in the mods folder) and for some reason when my game loads up it's like the colors glitch out and I am only seeing one color and is literally unplayable. Does anyone here know how I can fix this and what is causing this problem for me? Ty.
Try updating all your graphic drivers and see if there are any impending Java updates in general. I've actually never faced any such problems with ntm so I am only guessing here.
Also if nothing works then do try and ask the people over at the official NTM discord about it
Please make a new tutorial for the Uranium enrichement, now the centrifuge give you only a liquid enrich uranium output, I don't know how to transform it into solid Uranium Fuel.
Coming out this Friday, I would've uploaded it last Friday but due to a cyclone in my state there was infrastructure damage and power loss. So I had no internet

You know what would've been ideal ... having a satisfactory like setup where there was no excess being produced. Minmaxing is so satisfying yet no minecraft mod successfully does that
Ah man what would I give for NTM to become like satisfactory for mc ... It legit would be a dream come true considering it already has some of the base mechanics on which satisfactory runs like infinite ore and oil. All that's needed is standardized rates of processing and extraction
I’m trying to get the vacuum refinery to actually get crude oil into it, am I missing something?
It seems the problem is due to the new pressure system as many people on my discord server are reporting similar issues
Is this build possible to work as self-sufficient in survival, meaning only one fracking tower?
Well to run this off a single tower in survival you will need to edit the config file to change the amount of crude oil extracted. Other than that I don't know of a way

Can you do a new tutorial for hbms mod? theres been lots of things added and its been confusing on what to do in starting the world, especially the new structures that are added
Just uploaded a video for all the updates today, it covers most new machines and fluids and items.
As for a starting guide I did make one but it is outdated now as heat based machines like stirling engine and crucible are much more used in the early game now. I have been trying to play more survival to figure stuff out but it has been a very slow process due to work and studies

What is the difference between moderated fuel rod and fuel rod
Moderated fuel rods don't require external moderators to slow down the incoming neutrons but normal fuel rods do

@@manuel_bing_chilling well hes is a pretty dangerous fuel source, no doubt it blew up ... generally using such a fuel requires using a stabilizer fuel like thorium which is what I'll be using in my design

it's a visual bug in the reloaded version of the mod
try using NTM Extended as there you won't face that problem
