shedding is normal with protective styles. We shed about 100 strands of hair in a day, So when you have your hair in braids for a month or 2 it can seem like a lot more shedding than if your hair was out natural. If it still seem like it was too much, the braids could’ve been too tight that’ll cause your hair to shed more, or it could’ve been breakage if you don’t regularly get trims.
