    • @crescentx5525
      @crescentx5525 Před 2 lety +7

      @Cali619 "very lucky player" SB 42: Helmet Catch that shouldn't have even counted since the Giants OL was clearly holding... Throw the flag and the Pats most likely win going 19-0, and let's not forget Samuel dropping what would be the game sealing Int. Speaking of that season, the moment Brady gets a HoF WR, they go undefeated in their FIRST season together... SB 46: Welker drops the easiest pass of his life which would've iced the game had he caught it, and Brady took the 31st ranked D to that SB! SB 52: Belichick benches Butler and Cooks, Brady's best receiver since Moss gets taken out early in the game which people seem to forget (If he never does, then they most likely win), and despite losing, he still threw for 3 TDs and 500+ Yds... I'll give you SB 51 and maybe 49 (I say maybe b/c it was another "lucky" (as u say) catch that put the Hawks in that position to score in the first place...) as the ones he should've lost, but he should've won the 3 he did lose. "people act like he did it by himself which is why he's overrated" I guess Mahomes, Rodgers, Montana etc. are overrated b/c people act like they do it themselves.... Are u under the age of 12? Montana had Rice for YEARS. Brady had Moss for 2 Seasons, and 1 of them was his RECOVERY year! If Brady didn't get injured in '08, oh boy... The Pats would've had their revenge tour by making it back to the SB and winning it with that still legendary team. The Steelers made it by avoiding the Brady led Pats, their kryptonite who ALWAYS beats them and u know it. Haters like u be happy he got injured that year. Cali huh? Must be a bitter 9ers fan if that's the team u rooting for over there. Go watch those Montana highlights he had with Rice. Brady to Moss >>> Montana to Rice. Would've broken many records had they played longer together

    All due respect to Roger Staubach who I think is one of the most underrated QBs in NFL history but the most valuable pick the Cowboys ever made (and in that way the greatest) was Herschel Walker for a 5th round pick in 1985. Thanks to that selection Dallas was able to engineer the trade that built the dynasty that would win 3 Super Bowls in the 90s. Without Walker there is no Emmitt Smith in Dallas, no Russell Maryland, no Darren Woodson, No Kevin Smith and several other players that would eventually start games for the Cowboys. Roger was the final piece that brought 2 Lombardi Trophies and 5 Super Bowl appearances to Dallas and he was a fantastic player. But even if Dallas had gotten nothing but Emmitt Smith for that 85 fifth round pick they used on Walker it still would have been the most valuable draft choice they ever made.

      The question wasn't who is the greatest player for every team, the question was who was the greatest draft pick. To me the greatest draft pick was the one they got the most value out of.
      Here's another one to chew on, Matt Ryan is listed as Atlanta's greatest draft pick. And I think that's a fair choice, but honestly the greatest player to ever be a Falcon draft pick was Deion Sanders and it's not even close IMO. However because Atlanta only kept him for 5 years or so his value as a draft pick was some what wasted for them.
