Did I miss any draft mistakes? I THINK I GOT THEM ALL RIGHT HERE
Andrew Thomas isn't a "bad pick. He is a great oline player, but is it a mistake, kinda, but he is still good!
@@AndrewP2030 ye
Andrew thomas
Andrew Thomas was wrong + John Ross is on the chiefs still and was on the roster when they won the Super Bowl
With you saying Baker Mayfield, Baker Mayfield nearly carried the browns to a Super Bowl in 2020
This dude knows as much about football as I do astrophysics.
So you gotta stick up your ass?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh
I hate the take on baker. Nobody expected allen to go 1 overall and baker brought us our first playoff win in decades
I know as a ravens fan that was disrespectful he made the browns have hope
And we’re is baker now
@@carloscolon3331 a starter on the bucs
No Allen was throwing a lot interceptions in college so it was hard
Baker sucks
Wow! This guy is fantastic at 2020 hindsight. No analysis of the salary cap situations, no mention that Patrick was panned by nearly every pundit and coach in the NFL, no mention of Trav’s and Tyreek’s issues on and off the field in their early years. Coach Reed is a genius at developing a game plan to fit the talents of his players. All three of the Chief’s players he mentioned have praised Big Red and all three have admitted that no other NFL coach recognized their uniqueness or was genius enough to build around them. I can’t speak for other situations, but as a Kansas City guy, I remember how poorly respected Texas Tech’s air raid offense was by the NFL. I remember all the yards we were penalized at critical points in games because of Travis’ inability to control his emotions. I remember the legal issues in the media for Tyreek. Those things got other great players kicked off the team, but Andy saw the potential where others couldn’t.
You forgot about his grating voice
If my bears couldn't develop trubisky who was serviceable at best, what makes you think we'd be able to develop mahomes? Kansas City was literally the perfect spot for him to go to
And to this POINT that OLD NFL team is STILL looking for it's 1st GREAT QB ! Better hope J. Fields isn't just another Le Mare , JR ? A RB playing at the QB spot ?
Watson was the natural choice that time.
You’re just sore about the double doing
This is 100% correct. Mahomes would not be Mahomes if the Bears drafted him. Bears coaching is absolutely terrible.
Mahomes would still be better though, he’s gotten better with less targets even now
To me it was the Cowboys drafting Taco Charleston one pick before TJ Watt. Baker was the Heisman winner and was always considered the 1st pick that draft. In fact most experts considered it to be a gamble to draft Allen as high as the bills did
Ya, I was waiting for Taco to pop up.
Tyreek was not doubted because of shortness he was kicked out of Oklahoma State for domestic Abuse
Just about to say that
Same
He can also jump like 3 ft high anyway
As a giants fan, I'm sad we missed out on Tua and Herbert, but Andrew Thomas is one of the best tackles in the league
daniel jones is way better than bum tua lol
Huh Tua is way better than Daniel Jones
Your lucky you didn’t get trashy Tua
@@challenerclub2145 nah bruh

He rlly wasn’t a bust, and nobody expected Mahomes to be so good
Cleveland also had #4 pick that same year, and Allen was picked way after that too. But, Browns did pick Denzel Ward with that #4 pick and Nick Chubb in round 2, so, they still had a pretty good draft that year.
This whole video is a masterclass in engagement farming.
The worst in value would go to Trey Lance. "San Francisco traded three first-round picks and a third-rounder to Miami in 2021 to move up from No 12 and draft the untested Lance third overall."
This was very comical I laughed the whole time 😂
These are such bad takes. It's easy to look at a draft years down the road and call a team stupid for passing on players that turned out great. Mahomes was a reach at the time for Chiefs and he just happened to turn into what he is, it was more of a shock at the time that the Chiefs selected him there than anything. Justin Jefferson is the only legit take here, he was clearly best available wr st the time, bad decision for the eagles. Baker was better on paper than allen, allen again was a reach at the time. Just bad takes all around cherry picking decisions that nobody could see at the time. Your opinion, just a bad one.
As a Eagles fan, the Jalen Reagor pick hurt at the moment. But if you think about it, if the Eagles picked Justin Jefferson, we would have a very talented WR, sure, but if we picked JJETAS, we wouldn’t have gotten Davonta Smith and AJ Brown. Two of the best WR in the game. And personally, I would rather have two elite receivers than one future hall of famer receiver. So at the time, that pick hurt. But now it isn’t so bad after all!
And Jalen Hurts made up for it to
This guy isn’t fully smart though cause he said they had jalen hurts he hadn’t even been drafted yet
@@Politicallyincorrect72 I think he's saying they should've just taken Hurts there, not that they already had him.
yeah look at where the eagles are compared to the vikings now plus JETAS looks like he tryna getup of Minnesota
it almost sounds like ur saying you are better off without jefferson, which isn't true. every team will still look for a solid WR2 so no matter what the front office would've given hurts a good WR2, its not like Jefferson would be the only good one. receivers like devonta are common, receivers like Jefferson are not.
Dude Andrew thomas is elite, and it was after Daniel jones’ rookie year, so they didn’t need a qb
Andrew thomas is a top 5 tackle now and it seems like danny dimes is working out so I think it was a good pick
Agreed. Not sure where he's coming from.
Danny Dimes , MR. OVER PAID QB is NOT Justin Herbert on his worst NFL days , PERIOD !
GO CARDINALS!!!!
Sorry, but DJ is selling and getting hurt constantly, and Andrew Thomas was useless.
@@MGuasta I made this comment before the season, plus andrew thomas is still very good
As a Bengals fan, I am thankful for Burrow being on the team. However, it would have been cool to have Mahomes in Cincinnati. We would have 2-3 Lombardis by now if we got him. But, I’m sure Burrow, once he gets healthy, will get ourselves back in and WIN it all!
I would hate Mahomes on our team
The baker take was bad. He was fine and gave the organization a direction. Im a ravens fan and i respect baker. He played injured bcs the franchise asked him to. Its not on him that his franchise betrayed him. The browns praised him and stabbed him in the back in the same sentence.
The way he said tuas last name 😂😂😂
Fr
Back then mahomes was a 3
Star qb
He doesn’t realize that these teams can see the future and this is a example of hating on teams for taking the wrong choice in a 50-50 choice
Nice analysis Mr 20/20
Baker looked really good in his first year and that 2020 season wouldn’t call him a complete bust
Nice video
Baker is now on the buccaneers and led them to a playoff win just like he did with the browns, he could win a second playoff game with the buccaneers.
Disagree with the first take, nobody was taking Josh that high and they even tried to criticize his skills.
Lets be real though, Mayfield isn't as bad as everyone has made him out to be. The Browns goofed again. Andrew Thomas is a decent lineman, and not taking Ross in that draft would have been hard to resist, I'm not sure how he did on film as far as catching on any other fundamental goes but the dude was fast. As a Dallas fan I'm surprised you didn't rip us a new one for taking Taco Charlton or Trysten Hill. Both were complete ass and as far as their amount of time spent playing for us goes even a fifth round would have been too much. We have picked up guys like Tyron Smith, Martin, Fredrick's, Diggs, Lamb, Parsons and LVE and have been historically good but we completely shit ourselves on those two defensive tackles, hopefully Dan Quinn is happy with the new DT and hopefully he works out
Well the browns liked Watson when he was suspended
As a Bengals fan. I feel embarrassed for my team
Josh Allen was way to raw for the browns. Baker was harder to screw up. If Josh Allen was the quarterback for the browns he would be a bust.
And one more thing. Baker took the browns to the playoffs since 2003 and won in the the playoffs since 1980s or 90s. Therefore your stupid!
we got a prophet over here huh.
He'd be out of football
Cool vid
Well here's the thing Amari Cooper wasn't on the Browns at the time but a really good OBJ was. They also had Jarvis Landry and a really solid defense. Thinking about Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and a good Steelers team in the same division current day is scary cool.
Amari Cooper
They didn't have OBJ till the next year.
As a ravens fan, I’m so happy we got Lamar Jackson
I love this video you are on point 1000%..I'm a new englander they piss me off not drafting Lamar Jackson they talked him up leading up the draft only to left off him their draft board..this my team but the Patriots is worst when come to drafting sure they found a few gems but overall they dead last in tears of evaluating talent and drafting
Jackson will NEVER win a superbowl.
@@irishledden4924It took John Elway well over a decade to win his, so I'll never say never. Also, many great HOFers never won championships like Dan Marino.
His first 3 takes were questionable but fair, but as a giants fan he lost me at andrew thomas being a mistake. Sure, lets take 2 qbs in a row and throw them behind one of the worst lines in football. Wouldve been better off saying evan neal or kadarius toney.
You sound like this clown's next door neighbor.
The giants with Andrew Thomas cmon next year he is a pro bowler it was bad but he is going to be a stud
Allen was from a small school and unanimously considered to be a gamble by most all draft pundits .
The Giants had just drafted a QB the year before. You don’t redraft a QB the next season.
Andrew Thomas is a top five OT fr
I didn't know the situation with Hill in the 2016 Draft, wow.
Imagine Rodgers, Adams and Hill in this season.
I'm not a browns fan but I definitely disagree with the shade thrown at mayfield. I think they treated him poorly but thats not even the biggest mistake in franchise history...what about Johnny Manziel?
Great video!!!! One of the best sports videos I've ever seen. Couldn't stop laughing.
Thank you lnu for the nice things about josh Allen and my bills! Keep up the good work! (I’m subbing)😊
That pick by the Eagles still bothers me, it worked out in the long run because we have two elite WRs now.
Well obviously the bengals picked john ross because he was insanely fast which can translate to generational talent, imagine if he was good and could use that insane speed? Then you'd be trash talking the bengals for passing on him
Eagles didn’t Justin Jefferson and looked what happened, eagles were a elite team
I think that the Baker pick wasn't a bust. He played really well in 18, 19, and 20. It was just the bad 21 season and now his career is a dump. And I'm sorry, they were never going to draft Lamar. Brady would've left right then and there. Billcheck thought he could resign Brady. If you're given the option to try to keep Brady on the team for a little while longer or Micheal Vick 2.0, you're taking Brady all day. And Sony Micheal just had that one bad injury. He was fantastic in 18 and 19. The right pick should've been Chubb if they wanted a stud running back.
The take on the patriots is bad. It was not the worst decision in our franchise history. Sony michell scored the winning touchdown in the most boring super bowl I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Yeah lamar would have been nice but bill belicheck trusted the rest of the team around Brady to develop and be good even without a good qb. If we did take lamar, since Brady was starting lamar would have never developed like how he did on the ravens. Bad take.
🤯what are they thinkig
i love these vids
in 2018 Josh Allen was considered a guy with potential, but very, very raw. There was never any chance he was going to be picked first. Baker wasn't a bust for the Browns. he played well for them until 2021. In 2021 he played injured all season and required surgery after the season. The Browns blamed their downward slide on Mayfield and decided to trade him and that trade was the biggest mistake they could have made. What about Josh Allen? His rookie year was abysmal. He did improve some in his second year and he excelled in his third year only after the Bills acquired Stephan Diggs. In 2017 Mahomes was considered by most (incorrectly) two be the 4th quarterback taken that year. People were surprised to see the Chiefs trade up to take Mahomes.
As a Green Bay fan was very disappointed we didnt take hill
It should be noted that in the three playoff games in Michel's rookie year he averaged 24 carries per game and 2 catches per game for 345 yds and 6 TDs and was a huge cog in a Super Bowl win for the Patriots while Jackson has yet to play in a Super Bowl. Injuries likely played a role in his longevity.
Nice video keep up the Good work man 👍🏻
Baker, was the guy Brown's needed so bad. Benched until almost the half of 3rd gm, comes in 14 down & ends 635 day embarrassment. Before Baker, 1 win in 2 seasons, 4 w's in 3yrs, 18yrs no p/o's, 26yrs no p/o wins. 51yrs no p/o road wins. Stefanski, as a rookie wins AP & NFL's Coach of the Year. Oh! you bet Baker played big in his 5th head coach award. Cleveland won 12 gms in '20.
i cant stop laughing
#Tua Tilopa" 😂
They can out of college the scouts and gm’s didn’t know the future of their career so they couldn’t decide
easier to say such things after the some playes turned out to be great and others a bust. Allen was without questions the QB4 in that draft, even darnold and Rosen were ranked above him. Bad take
Bro we didn’t draft Jalen yet we drafted him like 12 picks later
The legend is back
The take on baker is ridiculous, not to mention in 2016 Lebron was a cowboys fan. Baker gave Cleveland so much
Love you LNU keep up the good work
when Dallas drafted Taco Charlton with TJ watt still on the board...as a cowboys fan, it made me sick.
Well, maybe you found the seven most overhyped QB high draft picks who turned out to be total busts, but they weren’t the seven worst players.
I was hoping to find out about the seven guys who were installed in the #45 position on the team roster and embarrassed themselves so thoroughly over the course of a four or five play career that they became anti-legends.
The next time the browns get a number 1 pick and want a quarter back. They should find who they want to pick. And pick the next best guy and see if that works for them because picking the “best available” quarter back is not working for them.
Maybe Mayfield (or all) would better (in your video) if they didn't spell their names backwards or throw left-handed! Nice production quality LNU!
The Browns had the Number 1 and Number 4 picks and could have taken Saquon Barkley Number 1 and probably could have gotten Mayfield at 4 if they liked him so much.
we liked them. Our ownership sucks
Fortunately, I only gave up 2:09 of my life for this video.
You are funny with the voice
We Eagles fans are STILL raw about this. However, AJ Brown and Devonta Smith make it a lot less painful....
I'm not even done with the first guy and this is bad. There were 4 popular qbs not 2 in 2018 - see sam darnold also selected before Josh Allen (who was taken 7 overall). The bills were also not "struggling", they had been at worst middle of the road and the previous season they went 9-7 and made the playoffs. This just feels like you made it from memory without any fact checking
As a Niners fan we’ve wiffed on Mahomes, Lamar, Watson, and Brady when he went to TB all for Jimmy G….
good thing the giants didn't take tua cuz as a dolphins fan we need him
Well sure we don’t have Travis kelce but we do have Gorege kittle
Allen was a bust until Diggs got to town. The Bears really screwed passing up on Mahomes and Watson, and the Patriots passing on Lamar for Sony Michel.
Actually, the Giants blundered twice in consecutive drafts: when the Raiders stupidly passed on DE Josh Allen in 2019, that was a gift for the Giants. Except they reached BIG TIME for Daniel Jones. Keeping Eli one last season as starter would have resulted in a high pick and Justin Herbert.. Herbert AND stud DE Allen.
The reason for terrible draft mistakes revolves around the owners. I truly believe that the owner of the team has the final word on who will be drafted. There's alot more going on in drafting a player and its not solely based on talent.
Andrew Thomas is one of the best tackles in the league and at that time we had Daniel Jones and his second year as a quarterback in the NFL we didn’t need Herbert or tua
Does this guy remember who Johnny Football was?
Mahomes runs like a Toddler that just took their parents phone.
That toddler has helped them win two Super Bowls. How is your team doing?
baker is in the mvp conversation
The bigger mistake for the Giants was not taking Micah Parsons. Instead they trade down and take Kadarius Toney.
If you went to google and searched average you will find Sony Michelle *GOT ME ROLLING ON THE CELLING* 😂😂😂😂😂
Also...regarding the Packers...his off field antics resulted in him being ignored at the draft. Packers don't pick up divas unless their name is Aaron Rodgers.
The eagles sure did miss out on Jefferson, but a few years later, they get A.J. Brown, and are in the super bowl. Jefferson is the best wr in the NFL, but oh well?
As a 49ers fan we were so stupid then but now we have George kittle
Also Travis Kelce had some off the field issues in college
Casual takes all around
I’m gonna shock you LNUBlitz! Mitch Trubisky is too funny. I drafted LNUBlitz as a normal quart back for the Chicago Bears!
You literally have no clue what your talking about. You forgot to mention Baker Mayfield took Cleveland to the playoffs and won a game. He played very well till he hurt his shoulder. Now he's winning in Tampa taking the Buccs to the playoffs and won a game. Mayfield was def projected to be a number 1 pick. Josh Allen didn't have the same hype cause he went to a much smaller school and didnt face the same competition . Also w Tim Couch any QB would fail on a 1st year expansion team
I know they traded their pick and technically doesn’t belong in the video but I am still livid about the bills trading their pick for Stefon diggs Justin Jefferson should be catching passes from Josh Allen imagine that duo. It should be the eagles passing in Jefferson and bills getting him. And also that was the 2020 draft the previous year was 2019 the 2021 record was a typo. FYI giants had the 6th overall pick tua went to Miami at 5th they had to take Herbert at 6 and should have. Andrew Thomas is a great left tackle but yes should have got Herbert. Also I agree with the niners about kelce but George kittle is a good consolation prize eagles should have got him to play with Jason.
Dude, I feel your pain.
this is the funniest video i’ve ever seen
he called baker Mayfield one of the biggest bust in nfl history? he wasn't even remotely close to the biggest bust in browns history lmao
Backer is a bust
Can we not, talk about the bears we have fields
5:58 “Tua Tialoba” 💀
0:37 To me I don’t think this was the worst decision in Browns history. I don’t even think it is close. The worst choice ever was drafting Johnny Manziel. He was supposed to be a great quarterback that would turn the Browns franchise around. He never did anything close to that. He was always a backup and 3rd string because he wasn’t close to good. Meanwhile Baker was actually good. He doesn’t deserve hate. He lead the browns to the playoffs, and even a playoff win. He was great for the browns and had a few good seasons there. And during this past playoffs, he lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a divisional round appearance. He was a star this season for the Bucs. He is not the worst decision.
Bro, you’re a Giants fan when was the last time you went to a Super Bowl? And won it
To be fair the Patriots passed up on Lamar just like the Ravens passed up on Tom Brady
Josh Allen is on the cover of Madden 2024, Patrick Mahomes is on the cover of Madden 2020, & on the cover of Madden 2022 with Tom Brady, and Lamar Jackson is on the cover of Madden 2021
bro compare the 49ers now to any team he said
Paying DeShaun Watson 230 million dollars BY FAR the worst move the Cleveland Clowns have ever made. Baker isn’t even that bad, that coaching staff is in Cleveland has always been a joke. Mike Pettine, Hue Jackson, Freddie Kitchens, Kevin Stefanski? That team can’t hold a head coaching job down for more than a few years.
