*****Please see It is applicable to all Pixel ie 6, 7, 8 , 9..***** if you are having issue doing it . Pls make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom. Under other available update options : Click on install fingerprint caliberation software. Otherwise it will take you for regular software update and it will fail. And you will be in loop .
My screen did the same thing as the first 5 seconds. Turning off the "Smooth Display" has eliminated the issue. This is not an ideal solution and I am not confident that it isn't the beginning of the end for this screen, but I am glad I do not have to spend more cash on this phone just yet.

This is sooooo helpful !!! I had my screen replaced and the shop had no clue where my finger print option had gone ! I tried to do what you said to do the recalibration but it says it couldn't connect to my phone any advice please ?

That's crazy because my phone screen did the exact same thing that the screen he's repairing did. It was doing that flicker/glitch
Same here, even the white line between the camera and the top right corner is exactly the same, the glitch and the green color, ugh, this is definitively a Google fault
I'm just even noticing I also got the same black ink dot on the corner just as the model used in this video, so basically the same issue

@babyyoda2219 actually i bought it from AliExpress. When using old fingerprint its accepting. But that fingerprint scanner i damaged then replaced with another . Since then its not accecting even after calibration. Any advice
