- The elephant in the room. Mosko vs Lone Rider, or the other way around.
Is a comparison fair? You bet. Not only appropriate but necessary.
Both products have a huge fanbase-everyone praising their chosen Luggage system.
Bring it on. Let's go for the details.
There are so many standard features in both products that comparing apples with apples should be an easy task.
Well, we'll see.

I can't find any follow up - EP 2 video . What's your thought after few weeks riding with mosko ?
Would you choose Lone Rider over Mosko Moto ? What about Kriega OS ?
Hi Steph, looking forward to the comparison, I went with mosko for my gsa and the wedges mount onto the OEM racks however, I did get a set of outback motortek racks (looks like your "Lone rider" racks are exactly those) and I notice you left out of the video the torture of unscrewing the passenger footpegs to fit the racks! I have sw motech hardboxes so left their brackets on the OEM racks and put the mosko onto the outback pannier racks. I really like my woodland color mosko bags with my kalamata GSA though but I've always wanted the lone rider bags too! A friend has the lone rider bags now so we will be able to compare ourselves as well. I have the lone rider tent for many years and recently got their mini bags to replace my givi crash bar bags & they are working well and have the headlight guard - looking at the new moto pegs too.
I guess the dude never finished his video series.
Yes he will. When I'm back from my Motorbike trip. That's the catch when you actually do it and not just talk about it.😂 in all honesty, it's already in the making.
Love my Mosko bags.
They are great. A longer video will follow. Struggling with man flu at the moment 🤧
Good video Steph, some nice transitions and you discovered the 'screen pump', just don't over do it! I've always liked the look of the Mosko panniers, but those big plastic mounting plates are horrid and the slots need regular cleaning if used in dusty environments. I have the Nomax Tank Bag but the quality isn't up to their panniers...
I do have a tankbag from Mosko, all bag no room. Never used it after trying.
Have my waterproof BMW bag. No fancy pouches but works and dry.
Any update on the next video?
What happened to the follow up comparison review video
I'm on my way to Croatia with those Mosco bags. So far so good 👍 make a video when I'm back in 3 weeks. 😉 sorry for the delay 😅
Hi Steph. Enjoy watching your videos here in Australia. Have you done the next video on the two bags comparison yet?
Hi Brian, it will be out in a couple of weeks. Just been busy at home. Reality of adv riding doesn't really show the other side of life pretty well😁
Thanks for that. I look forward to seeing your next video.👍
What a pain in the butt, Steph I think I would have stayed with the Lone Rider Bags since they fit on the OEM BMW racks. Those Mosko back plates look like crap when the bags aren't on the bike.
You shouldn't need a rack. BMW designed mounting points into the bike (and they are used for BMW panniers). These downmarket firms are clueless.
Got your point, but we don't all have to walk into the same direction. If BMW changes you are screwed as well. 😁
Hi Steph you like the best cracking luggage bags expensive but worth the money I said I’ve got the KRIEGA and they were supposed to be doing a quick release system nothing ever come with it so I waste of my money with Krieger stay safe hope your enjoying your trip looks good on the shorts of Instagram 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
Hi Mate. I do have some Kriega gear and I do like the quality but It misses some key functions.
@@MOTOTravelUK hi Steph definitely it does I contacted them what they about having a quick release there working on been to long nearly year since the said they were in the pipeline with not good but the O/S are good quality 👍👍🙏🙏
bonjour
vous n avez pas fait de retour sur la goose wingman. est ce que c est un bon compromis ou cela n est pas terrible par grand froid?
I sold it asap. More of a novelty. Not for the modern world of motorbike travelling.
But that was my opinion. Other appreciate it maybe more than me. But the sheer bulk of the tent for what little room you had in return didn't do it for me.
😉 let's just leave it like that.
Puzzling to me, beyond comprehension, is that BMW built pannier mounting points into the design of the GS, that support BMW’s panniers, but both of these “leading” manufacturers have been completely stumped on how to take advantage of them. Rather, both companies require pre-installation of pannier mounting racks. Granted, Lone Rider is working on a rackless system, but why didn’t they start there? Mind-boggling (says this sr. Product exec).
Good points. I think there is an aspect of catching up what really stops innovation. Looking at the 2022 gear, there is nothing groundbreaking. So more of the same in the Motorcycle accessories business.
