Itâs simple. I see an Adam Penning video and I click on it
This is the best video so far I've ever seen on fish care, awesome work Adam
Thanks for this informative video
Top video as usually! And indeed very very fundamental about how to treat our friends. I thought
I knew it all, been fishing for 40 years now, but still have learned new ways to properly handle my friends. đ btw Mr Penning đ happy 2023 !
Best carp care vid I've seen . Top advice
Just one point Adam, not trying to be picky or anything else. I still see some anglers standing or partially standing up when having a photo taken with their catch. If possible you might just be able to overwrite the video telling anglers the hazards of this. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and yours.
I would recommend all anglers carry unhooking mats when fishing on waters that contain larger fish, irrespective of the species they are angling for. Carp and Tench will take smaller baits even if they arenât meant for them⌠Good tips from Mr Penning! đđđ
I personally have a bucket of water in shade ready - if it get warm I refresh it - - land carp in net - unhook carp in net - roll up carp in net straight in to the weight sling which is wetted frequently and then straight to the un hooking map - remove the net from carp - if it looks worth weighing then weight it else use the weight sling to ease the fish back into the lake. Never bother with photos as fish solo and well I don't use social media so no problem there - I would rather keep the carp in net sling and on bank for as little time as possible barring any time to treat any problem with the fish
Never used my weight sling as a retainer and only ever used net whilst I check the mat etc is watered and water in bucket not to warm
Another great video with good advice and information regarding fish care , handling etc . I use propolis wound seal from NT LABS on the fish I catch and koi I keep and breed . Regardless of cost . Fish welfare is a priority and should be compulsory IMO .
Excellent advice. The least we can do is look after the fish and ensure it goes back safely . We now know how sensitive and delicate fish are, plus more evidence that fish do feel pain the last thing we need to do as anglers is give any of the anti angling groups a reason to show angling as a cruel hobby đ
Always retained my fish for longer, woll correct this
I want to start dipping my net and mat between fisheries. What is the best dipping solution for this?
I only weigh my Carp if I think it is over 60lb.
Yeah big paylake blobs donât count anyways
Well I did not know landing nets had to be green. Thats where Im going wrong then!.....
Brilliant advice Adam hopefully more people will understand the importance of keeping a fish comfortable and undamaged. đ§âđŚł
