I think it’s important to be realistic here. It’s already rare that people will change at all. But if they do, it takes time to change. So unless you want to go back to the same thing you left, they’re probably just saying they’ve changed because they’re saying what they know you want to hear. Things might go well for a month. But it’ll go right back to the same old.

a human can change if he or she wants to save her family. i got 3 kids with my wife , and we are in the middle of a divorce. and now i am seeing my mistakes better. we live apart since 1 month she lives at her parents home with the kids. so now i made a list of my mistakes and how to make it better. so if she will give me a second chance then i will implement the new me. the mistakes I made wont happen again.

My ex left me two weeks ago, I found out she slept with someone. I love her and I still want to be with her, however she is adamant that it will not work for a number of reasons. I started to implement no contact 3 days ago, last night she tried to call twice. I ignored her calls and only messaged her “what’s wrong” she said she was just checking in and hopes I have a good night. I only replied “I am good” was this the right thing to do or should I reach out to her to see if there is any chance
