There's rumor that Zootopia land and ride may be coming to Walt Disney World either at Disney's Animal Kingdom or at Magic Kingdom in the future. Do you guys want Disney to build Zootopia at Walt Disney World? or should it just be exclusive to Shanghai Disneyland?
Video filmed January 2024 in Zootopia Themed Land at Shanghai Disneyland
The animateonic movements are pretty insane
I came here to say this. HOW COOL! I can't believe that some are not humans in costumes lol.
If WDW started right now, they could add this to Animal Kingdom in 12 short years
YASSSSSSSSSS
😂😂😂😂
They are definitely the last and slowest to get things.😂
😂
That estimate is way to aggressive, time must be taken.
I’m all for the integration of screens to further immerse the rider in the story by adding background details, but I feel like the stationary scenes that focus solely on watching a screen to tell the story take the viewer out of the moment and make you hyper-aware that it’s a simulation.
I think it's the "stationary" part that makes those sections particularly irritating for me. If you're still moving, you can still imagine that you're part of the action as the ride intends, but being made to hold still breaks that immersion. If you MUST be stationary, have some other kind of stimulation, maybe jets of air or vibration in the seats, to keep it going.
@@charondusk5608 The worst, offender, in my opinion, is the new Remy ride at EPCOT. The queue is so great and hyped me up for the ride so well with all the little items scaled way up, all for it to be a trackless ride that does nothing new with the tech and insists on stopping in front of a screen every minute. I feel like these aren't even fun for kids, and Disney knows this, because even here they have the real animatronics at the end for kids to go "Look! There's my favorite character in real life!" when they should have felt like they were with them the whole ride.
I wonder if amusement parks realize the opportunity they have now. With integrated screens and ai, they can literally make every ride different each time.
I actually love the detail on 5:50 when they were inside a moving train. The fish on hooks were moving as well even though they're just in one place 😂
Zootopia Day in the Zootopia attraction, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit is possibly the day that the city of Zooptoia was first founded and established similar to how Empire Day in the Star Wars franchise was the day the Galactic Empire was first founded and established same for Radiator Springs 1 ½ holiday where Radiator Springs also was first founded in the Tales from Radiator Springs episode, “Radiator Springs 1 ½.”
The screens are built into the scenes so well especially around 7:20. The Animatronics so fluid with video eyes built very well. Impressive scene decoration.
That’s what I was thinking, too! I love the detail of how Judy’s flashlight beam is shown shining on the objects around
good mix of video and animatronics. the finale chase portion looks fast, even if it's just a screen.
I rode this ride during Christmas and I was AMAZED by how much it FEELS like you are moving. The cars actually move left and right, forwards and backwards matching with the video on the screens and it just makes it feel REAL!
The environmental storytelling in the prison is great. You can see how bellweather escaped as you go through the prison
i love the queue! reminds me of the spiderman/daily bugle queue in universal studios orlando
Really well done. The best integration of screens and physical sets I've seen. You don't even realize it's a screen sometimes. And proof that nobody does animatronics like Disney can.
You should see Jurassic world adventure at universal Beijing. Their screens and animatronics are both much more advanced there.
Ya I’ve seen they have a T. rex that actually follows you
So many dark rides coming out this year!
Really wish Euro Disney and US parks would get some love too. I've never seen more fluid animatronics in my life except maybe in the Star Wars ride.
Wow, amazing ride! Good length, seamless transitions from projections to live action and very busy! I would ride this over and over again. Thanks for sharing!
I wish that Attractions 360 put up captions so you could understand what they were saying, but other than that great video!
This is just rise of the resistance…but Zootopia, and I’m in love
Rise of the Resistance wasn't the first trackless ride ever built you know...
@@JazzyJayTheTarotMageGamecat But this ride sure uses a lot of technology from rise and runaway railway
Good call on muting the Gazelle concert to avoid a copyright strike! 👍
I agree.
Wow. Incredible!
If the train took place in the snow biome.... It would've been an interesting reference to a movie when someone is controlling it, would drift it on ice
They better bring this to the US lol
BEAUTIFUL
Uses a lot of elements of Mickey and Minnie but amazing queue and animatronics.
Billion times better than railway
Disney World seriously need to get this ride. It's amazing.
Luckily, I heard a rumor going around that this could potentially replace It's Tough to be a Bug! at Animal Kingdom in the next few years. :)
Yeah but that's an animatronic show and not a ride@@brycefourn2001
@@brycefourn2001 That would be terrible. Zootopia does NOT belong in Animal Kingdom. Put it in Magic Kingdom, or a 5th gate
@@brycefourn2001 I don't see any way this could go in the Tree of Life. The show building must be huge.
@@joelk4751 Or they could put it in a potential Zootopia land expansion on the other side of the park.
incredible so MUCH INCREDIBLE!!!!! those animatronics was spot fricking on.....
The animatronics where really amazing!
this NEEDS to be at WDW in Animal Kingdom!! I lovvveeee this ride!!!! It looks so real!
That was pretty awesome!
Wow! This was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Truly state of the art, and a great long length of a ride too!
That was great
This ride looks awesome
This is wicked I love these animatronics and the ride looks really fun too. I hope to see this come to California and Florida soon.
cool ride ever
Such an outstanding, hitting-all-the-marks ride! 🙂 I’m very pleased and happy with the park they created! And nearly a 5-min ride too with different elements and areas and sections? Amazing!
I really hope Zootopia 2 is dark toned. Like it was already a bit dark kinda due to the current stage of the world we live in, but the second needs to be darker than its predecessor
the animatronics for the queue is so epic.... i wouldn't even mind if disney just made queues that you can walk through and experience a story like that...
Welp, China definitely has the US beat in animatronics. Dang. That is beautiful.
Yep. It’s obvious which of the Disney parks Bob prefers to invest money into.
Yeah, first the HK Elsa and now the ShangHai Gazelle. Amazing, I think Bob has a favourite…
It's all still US-made, between Imagineering offices in Glendale and Orlando (animatronic fabrication specialists, show programmers who animate the animatronics, etc). Project budget matters a lot but also the generation the animatronic is created.
@@TacoEX1The Asian Disney Parks are privately funded.
Although its few audioanimatronics are state-of-the-art, the ride is mainly a series of widescreens. Although its static set decorations are generally elaborate, the ride's format is too much like a stroll through Best Buy's widescreen department. Not sure if this attraction will fly at the Disney parks in Tokyo owned by the Oriental Land Co.
Seriously WDW and DL, **PLEASE** bring a variant of this ride to the US! This looks soooooo much fun!
if this does happen, im hopping it'll be in Salem new Hampshire in massachusetts were canobie lake park is.
now this looks like something at universal studios would put together not Disneyland this is impressive
Looks awesome
All these Shanghai rides are impressive AF.
The innercourse on this ride and decorations looks great.
i think these are the best animatronics i ever seen
the fricking BEST!
I won't deny that it has some impressive animatronics but if you look at the ride objectively isn't it mainly screens and elaborately dressed up hallways?
Yeah but isn't elaborately dressed up hallways the very definition of a dark ride?
they’re better dark rides though
High effort queue, low effort ride.
I don’t get the story. Are we chasing down the prison escapees? Did we get them? Was that when something was hanging from a rope after the sky ride plunged? I have only watched the video once, but it should be more apparent what is going on.
I love how Disney adults always accuse universal of having only screen based rides, but they look the other way when Disney does it
Very generous ride. It's plenty long with a lot to see, variety of gags, thrills, surprises and show pieces. Hope the usa parks get to see this, a good "whole family" ride.
this is incredibly elaborate and immersive. America has nothing like this.
cmonnnn dont say america has nothing like this, we have rise of the resistance which is the most mindblowingly elaborate and immersive ride ive ever been on and mickey minneys runaway railway isnt far behind this. this is an amazing looking dark ride though with a great mix of practical effects and projection!
If a zootopia theme is going Animal Kingdom, than this ride go there as it would make the most sense.
Awesome attraction to fuel up my imagination!
I really wanna go one day!
We need this ride in Animal Kingdom in Orlando
This doesn’t really fit the vibe of animal kingdom. Yes they’re animals but it just doesn’t feel right to me
@@jaykay1899 They're planning to replace It's Tough to be a Bug with a Zootopia show. And if anything doesn't fit the vibe of Animal Kingdom, it's the Moana ride they're also planning to build. They should leave the bugs alone and build a copy of this instead of Moana.
NO! They do not belong in Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom, or a new park
Zootopia is Disneys best animated feature in the last 20 years not even close
This HAS to come to Animal Kingdom
This is very impressive.
Nice park very good
neat ride
this is probably one if the best disney rides i’ve ever seen! considering i’ve seen a lot (online not in person), this one is very impressive! the animatronics are so well built, the ride itself is just truly amazing! would love to go but i can’t go to hong kong lol it’s too far away and i hate planes
Its in shanghai
COOL
Amazing looking ride. Totally understand having to mute the musical piece to avoid copyright strikes. The final two animatronics seemed below the standard of the rest of the ride.
I have a strong feelling that Zootopia 2 will have this exact storyline of bellweather escaping prision and Nick and judy having to track here down! Lets hope in 2025!
Can’t wait to check it out!
I would like a Zootopia land to be put in Animal Kingdom, with this ride being put inside the dinosaur ride. It fits better than Indiana Jones.
Great ride! Very similar to Rise Of The Resistance and Mickey And Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Very much so. You can even see a number of particular moments that are essentially re-skins of the same exact mechanical designs as those rides. (The slightly elevated convertible moving forward and back early on from MMRR and the escape pod drop from ROTR are easily recognizable)
I love that ride
When the queue is better than most walk-thru attractions
I like the usage if Transparent monitor displays.
It’s more immersive than showing everything on one layer of screen.
However, it need more mixtures of screens and real props and backgrounds.
In that way, it can gain both the good stuff of being realistic and having free expressions in the same time.
Wish someone find ways to fix the problem and upgrade it.
Will like to have one in Tokyo Disney.
This looks so cool! I know I’d love it. I wish Disney World in Florida would get some new fun things like this. I feel like they went too much on the Star Wars side of it I like variety.
cant wait to see this in 30 years in animal kingdom!
This ride is so cool, I do hope it does come to Animal Kingdom, be such a great expansion
This looks amazing so cool I can’t wait till make this in California Disneyland I hope
They'll have that in about 15 years
It is so good to know that Disney is investing all of its money and efforts overseas while working hard to destroy the parks right here at home.
OH MY GOD, THEIR MOUTHS FLEX!!!!
For Disney world , I saw while they were making new animatronics it looks exactly like the zootopia charecters in the background . I think next year they will make this is animal kingdom
This ride (Zootopia: Hot Pursuit) is awesome! I can’t wait to ride on it when my family and I visit DisneyWorld in Japan in the future after we get our passports.
I also can’t wait for the Zootopia 3D Show, when it comes out at Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom at DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida at some point in the future. I hope that it will be a jukebox musical like the Sing franchise and feature Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps singing as a duet, “Hold Me Closer” by Elton John and Britney Spears, and as a solo song for Nick, “Sunday Best” by the Surfaces and “34 Plus 35” or “Positions” by Ariana Grande for Judy Hopps, and Clawhauser and Gazelle singing together as a duet, “Blank Space” by Taylor Swift, and Flash and Priscilla singing very slowly, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen and have Fru Fru and her friends sing and perform, “Barbie Girl” by Aqua or even have them all sing original songs like in classic Disney animated musical films or “Let It Goat”, “Can You Feel the Fur Tonight” and “Part of Your Wool” or “I Can’t Wait to be Alpha” or “Be Our Best Fox” or “Ara-Bunny Nights”. Or even have Gazelle, Chief Bogo, Clawhauser, Nick, Judy, Emmet Otterton, Mrs. Otterton and the Otterton kids with the butterfly wings and suspension cords from the Zootopia Plus (2022) episode, “So You Think You Can Prance?” all sing and perform, “Levitating” by Dua Lipa together. Good idea or what?
As always, budget is high and it shows.... Another planet
Bạn chia sẻ hay lắm❤❤
The animatronics are great, but I hate to see that the the ride is mostly screens
What video were you watching? Yes there are screens, but used when needed. This is at least 80-85 % practical and physical set pieces and is no different to Spiderman Ride or Transformers rides.
It's a good enough ride especially since it's shanghai disney's version of runaway railway
This is really cute but I just kept imagining Runaway Railroad meets Zootopia.
Disneyland and Disney CA Adventure have expansion plans, including an area based on Zootopia. I wonder if that means this ride will be one of the ones there!
now this is how you make a queue
These newer animatronics are insane. I keep thinking they must be cgi with their movements.
animatronics are amazing. but this is essentially just runaway railway. at least that’s what it looks like.
In the drop on the gomdala scene, where do they move up? Like how In ride of the resistance you go up in the at-at room, I am confused
lol. its stationary. you dont move. it just exits where it enters then goes to the next room
wat een top ride
I love the way that it looks! But personally I would've done it in English since there are a lot of international visitors. But other than that, it looks incredible and very real!
I hope this dark ride will open in the USA (California or Florida) in the future.
Impressionante como é real
They aren't bringing this to Animal Kingdom to replace Dinoland USA and are instead bringing over Encanto which I kinda understand being popular and everything but only a little related to animals because there is a kid that understands them. What I don't get is Indiana Jones. Monkeys and Snakes...real variety there amiright?
Here's hoping we get a whole area at Gate 5.
プーさんのハニーハントの進化版
I would like to see this attraction due for the USA soon.
I was bummed out when I found out the music was muted on the video
the moment I saw it was trackless I knew it was going to be underutilized in typical Disney fashion.
4:08 Turns out Judy Hopps isn’t the only one who has a Carrot Recording Pen. My prediction is that Nick Wilde is going to get his own in Zootopia 2.
Love to see this but I also feel sad thinking about the original park cause now it's starting to feel outdated
Wow even the people look animatronic lol
I wish someone would upload with with subtitles
Wish they add this at Disneyland California bc I wanna go on this ride and plus I don’t understand this language
Where is that.
If only they kept baymax there I would be so happy
This IP and ride will not survive the test of time...
So, it’s another Mickey and Minnie’s railway/Remy’s/rise of the resistance… “new”
If this was at Disney World at be awesome
5:24 where I got stuck
It's kind of weird how there's a lot of English on the font and props but the audio is Japanese. It makes sense the language is Japanese but it's cool they put the extra attention for the English text. Is it a motion simulator like Spiderman or just a normal trackless ride at 8:00? Nice long ride though. Fantastic theming. Good use of screens and physical props.
Not japanese, this ride is in china.
@@user-xv3dl7vk1b Ah, must have mixed up my videos. I only had 25 tabs open!
