- In this video, Ken explains some of the tips and best practices that we tell people all the time over the phone. This video will highlight some things that new roasters should look out for while they are getting familiar with their roaster and how to achieve the best roasts.
Excellent. Thank you Ken. We sure enjoy the ease of operation of our Artisan 3e
Great info. I too trust my bean temp, and drop on the numbers. My customers love my coffee. I was having some issues with quakers, but you and the team recommended I increase the loft and that solved my issue. I have a few jump out but that isn't a big deal with me.
Very nice, always good info. Its nice to see that you guys want to help . To me that makes a big difference, maybe that's why I bought your 3-e roaster. I would love to see you going over your in shop chaff collector for the 3-e roaster , See how to hook it up , see it working , and cleaning. I have been asked about the chaff collector from other coffee friends and didn't have all the info. for them or for myself. As always, thank you . Jon Perfetti ALL WELL COFFEE.
Thanks Jon! I will definitely put the chaff collector on my list of videos to do next.
Hi there from East Texas FINALLY I have everything set up and I’ve even done a first roast today (I admit I was nervous)
So can you recommend a roast setting for dark roast
I listened to one of your videos where you were roasting medium at 5.5 and 1st crack was at 400 degrees
I also realize there are variables
But can you recommend a setting for dark roast
Is there a video strictly on artisan e3 setup with the bag catcher
The roaster manual is the best place to find information on setting up the roaster. You can find a PDF version here: coffeecrafters.com/wp-content/uploads/Artisan-3-e-Manual-Update-4.28.23.pdf
Ken, Is there a way to get an electronic copy of the roast log?
There sure is! You can find a PDF version on the Manuals page on the website. Here is a link: coffeecrafters.com/manuals/
Thank you!
