I am hearing sooooo many good things from that camo! I just picked up the Electrify Solid and Hyped Hybrid though so it'll be a while before I drill a hustle!

I bought this ball about a month ago and had it punched up, but have yet to throw it in league without some practice with it first (been busy). After seeing this great review, I will be making time to practice with it, and if it performs half as well as it did for you, it will be in my league bag for next week.

I have the silver and pink Raw. It is a pearl. I would like to try the hybrid and the solid too. My wife steels it all the time. We have almost identical hand hit except the thumb size. So we can change thumbs with the vise it system and she can use any of my balls. I had it soaked to get the oil out and resurfaced because it had got nasty and she was not wiping it off ever. She was living the lily several times in the pocket. I threw it 2 frames Thursday and both was pocket5 pins. I got it back today and it was money. No more stupid 5 pin leaves. I have had some real good games with my pearl in the past too. For the money the raw is a great line of balls. I would love to see it compared to Rotogrip hustle camo. But good video. Thank you as always Luis.
Also to anyone that feels their ball is in the pocket but will not carry especially if it is hitting flat. clean your ball professionally. Have it soaked or baked to remove the oil and then resurface it. They get a lot of oil in them or crap on them they will just burn up the balls energy spinning out on the backend instead of grabbing the dry and turning, then it just hits dead. I know Luis knows all this but some of you that have a lot of games on a ball it might be worth looking at doing. I have been told about every 60 games they need to be de oiled. I am currently rolling 25 to 30 games a week so it adds up fast.

I gotta say, the Hammer balls have been fire for you. I like hammer the most of all the brunswick brands. They make strong coverstocks that also have a bit of pop at the end.
See hammer usually hooks too much for me. At least it was this way in the past.

I'm glad you did this one!! I picked up a BW Ghost Pearl and was looking at another one to carry with me for light oil or a bit opposite of the BW...and something to throw at people when they complain about the Purple Hammer on league night. I think this one will fit nicely for me as an option.

@@LuisNapoles Just got home from the lanes after getting it drilled...and about 3hrs of drills for 2-handed bowling.. Man this thing hooks HARD. Lanes were really dry too but that 30-40 degree sudden yank at the end took some getting used to. You don't think it is going to do anything and stay pretty straight and then BAM. It pulls a juke... Going to say this, I wished I had this RAW to try out on the light to dry conditions!! Def going to add the RAW to the bag. The guys next to me had one of each of the RAW and the black one was really doing it for him.
I have a Raw Hammer Solid, Pearl, and Hybrid for the price you can't beat for league play. I find that I go to the Solid the most shot a 288 last week. But like the pearl when lanes get used up, haven't used the Hybrid much at all. Thanks for your reviews enjoy them a

Excellent review of the Raw Hammer Black! I have one and use it from the left side and it is equally an awesome ball. It's very forgiving, release friendly, and has excellent carry. I've used it on the fresh and the burn and it does equally well providing a strong but predictable reaction. For me the Hammer Raw Black is a weaker version of the Hammer Web Tour which I have taken out to 500/2000/3000 to make it usable on a house shot. I think the Hammer Raw Black is probably one of the more underrated balls - especially at its price point. :)
I thought it was a grate ball at that price point! I do however prefer the Hustle Camo over this!
@@LuisNapoles - I've never dabbled in the Storm or Motiv territory. Have always preferred the Brunswick and EBI Family (before they were bought by Brunswick) bowling balls because they seem to suit me better. Nothing against Storm products. :)

If you bowl league at south point, you should always bring this ball. Super matched up, and you can chase it as they break down. Great job as always!

@@scottburke9552 it's a term used when the oil pattern breaks down and you have to move to the left. When your ball hooks, you have to find more oil so it will skid down lane. Chasing the oil line.

I have the Raw Hybrid and it is great when my upper and upper/mid performance balls just get squirrelly in the mids and very inconsistent motion in the back. It is basically a great ball to ball down to when there has been too much transition on the heads. Please do the burner pearl.

A lot of these lower end balls are performing very very well on typical house shots, when the lanes have friction. In my home center I get the best performance on the house shot with an Brunswick Rhino. Easy to go with a score of 200+ per round at the end of the day.

How does this compare against the vibe? I normally bowl with an older Beast 13.9 lb (at 16-17 mph), and just got a vibe (15.2 lb), my speed dropped by 4-5 mph, and I’m finding the vibe likes the back of the alley a lot at 12 mph. I’m thinking of getting the RAW in a 13.8-14 lb, so I can roll at 14-15 mph. Thoughts?

Every single video I say what the layout numbers are. I used to show the picture of the layout but where the pin lands for you and for me would be two completely different layouts. This layout is 50x4.5x30

I recently bought a Hammer black widow 2.0 but it has too much hook for me at the end, do u recommend this ball for less hook?
was tossing up between the electrify solid and the Hustle camo but this one just changed it. with that drilling what length of pin should l get or does taht matter with symetrical balls anymore? awesome video

@@LuisNapoles they electrify solid looks a little earlier then the Camo, l have now. 4 balls to choose from to go along with my desert tank, fatal venom and Prism Warp Hybrid rebuilding arsenal.

the Onyx Vibe, in particular, has a stronger cover and slightly more differential (042 to 038 in 15lb.). Smooth, but a little more angular using the same layout than the Black Raw. I've thrown them both. The Onyx was a very good ball, as is the Black Raw Hammer. You should be able to stay with he Black Raw longer in blocks of medium to light oil, it's an under the radar killer.
How does this compare to the Motiv Enzo
Not even close. Enzo is much more ball more angular. Complete different ends of the spectrum

Less absorption rate on the lower performance balls. Lower hook potential

@@carlriley6403 A 30 degree VAL angle will put the pin above the bridge for most. Everything depends on your PAP and span since we are all different.
