Hi Sam, Jae told me to connect with you on your channel to encourage you with my testimony. My name is Monique. I am an elderly French lady living in Australia. I grew up as Catholic. I never read the Bible or learnt anything apart the stories of Jesus. At the age of around 15, I left the church. I married and was in the world sinning. Later on in life after my divorce, I met Jehovah's witnesses. I put my two sons in it. I believed what they taught me knowing nothing about the Bible. I stayed with them for 8 years. God led me out of this cult helped by a Christian lady. Unfortunately, one of my son and his family stayed in and they cut contact with me for 31 years now. I never saw my grandchildren growing up. Very sad. It's an evil cult, no Christian love there. I could get my younger son out of them, but unfortunately he doesn't believe in God and doesn't want to hear anything about Him. So, out of JWs, I went in Protestantism from church to church trying to understand the Trinity as I wasn't believing in it. From JWs, I experienced a lot of fears and I was struggling a lot with the teachings of this cult in my mind. Later on in life, I went in Seventh Day Adventist church for 5 years. Some of their teachings were like JWs. Then, I joined a little group of SDAs which didn't believe in the Trinity. I was still struggling with it. During that time I was watching some videos on CZcams, and found a professor of religions who was defeating adventism. I believe God led me to him. This professor helped me to see all the wrong teachings of SDAs, they have a false gospel, a false Christ and a false prophet. I went out of this cult being deceived again. But God had not finished with me. I went to an independent Baptist church. At this time I accepted the Trinity. It took me 30 years to accept it. I stayed with the Baptist for 1 year. For 39 years in Protestantism, I suffered a lot, being hurt by pastors, being lied to, being deceived and losing my family. Few weeks ago, when I wasn't feeling well, I decided to watch some videos and I found your channels where you explain the wrong teachings of JWs and I watched them, all the videos I could find. I can tell you Sam that theses videos helped me a lot dismantling in my mind all the Satanic teachings of this cult. I shared some of your videos with one of the pastor of the Baptist church and he told me that your teachings helped him to learn about JWs, I shared also your videos with a Christian man married to a JW. He was very happy to watch them. But I believe God did something when I watched one of your teaching, saying that we should read the church fathers. I took on board what you said and started to read some of the church fathers. God opened my eyes. I realised that they were believing what the Catholic church believe. I took the decision to leave Protestantism two weeks ago and come back to Catholicism after 59 years out of the church. I attended my first mass last Sunday. I am starting to learn the Catholic faith. God has led me out of Protestantism and healed me of all the wrong teachings and lies I was told against the Catholic church. The worst cult for that was the SDAs. I was against the Catholic church and I repented for it. Sam, I would like to thank you so much for your teachings that helped me tremendously. You are an excellent teacher, very clear. You have a great knowledge of the Bible. I admire that in you. I would like to encourage you to continue in this ministry. I understand fully your pain for what you have suffered in your marriage, I experienced that myself. I understand your pain for losing the visitation of your daughters, I experienced that too, losing my son and my grandchildren in JWs cult. Take courage my brother in Christ. Continue your great work. God is in control and I hang to Him as it is all I have in life. Sam I will be praying for your ministry, for you and your daughters. May God bless you. Thank you again for leading me out of this darkness with the help of God. 🤗🙏

Thank you dear Jesus for saving me from the JW cult. I pray that every JW may be called out of this "society". Clearly the "WT society" do not heed Rev. 22:18,19 or Proverbs 30:5,6

  • @thetheoreticaltheologian2458

Also, in this sense, the first born over all creation isn’t talking about being created, rather “first born” means having dominion over it, in that it belongs to Him “since He created it”. Pretty much like when the first born was given the rights and land that the family owned.
Also, we must understand the 2 natures of Christ Jesus the Son who in the flesh was created, but in the Spiritual sense He is eternally God “the Son”
    God bless y’all!

First, the Greek word translated as *over* in some Bibles is an added word that changes the context of Col 1:15, adding or changing the meaning of the context is definitely a sin. So when you switch the word "of" to "over" in explaining Col 1:15 guess what you are doing?
The KJV translation uses the word *of* and that therefore makes Jesus part of creation. I know that the NIV does translate the Greek word to *over* but it has a footnote that states it should be *of*. Well, *at least they admitted they lied!* The rest of the context in the sentence tells what it's referring to, which as stated *Jesus is the firstborn OF all creation.* So this obviously makes Jesus the first created creature (Rev 3:14 also confirms this fact)! Despite how others will twist scripture to get to the meaning they want. *To translate the Greek word *over* qualifies as an addition because “over” in no way can be derived from the Greek genitive article meaning “of”, when translators and or teachers make this addition on the basis of doctrine rather than the language of the Greek text. Whereas “of” makes Jesus part of creation, “over” sets him apart from it. They are obviously adding to their theology rather than being truthful. *Hmmm ... Is that lying?*
It's true David is not firstborn. But the reality is firstborn means firstborn. You can’t change the meaning of words. You use King David to try and change the meaning of firstborn. Let's look at the scripture and the context to fully understand why your conclusion is incorrect. Verse 27 says, “I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.” Is this really speaking of King David??? *Was King David ever the highest king of the earth? Is King David ever going to be placed as the highest king of the Earth? NO!* There is not one scripture of David being made the Highest King of the earth! Not to mention he’s been dead a long time by the time Ps 89 was written!!! Verse 27 is obviously not referring to David! Jehovah God made his Firstborn Son the highest King. This scripture is, in fact, *referring prophetically to Jesus Christ (God's firstborn), not King David* ... for Jehovah God is placing Jesus as "the highest of the kings of the earth". “. . .and from Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness,” “the firstborn from the dead,” and *“the Ruler of the kings of the earth.”*. . .” - Revelation 1:5 See also (1Tim 6"15; Rev 19:16) *Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of lords. David held no such title and his life was not cut short according to verse 45!* Ps 89 is not David! Another example of David referring prophetically to Jesus Christ is Ez 34: 22-24; Jer 23:5.
*"And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." - Rev 19:16 This title does not and will not ever belong to David!*
    *Your reasoning is incorrect*
Now is Jesus over creation or placed above all creation? “. . .For God “subjected all things under his feet.” . . .” 1Co 15:27 *Well Jesus' Father made the choice to do that, so the answer is Yes*
*Let's dig deeper and get more details* ... “. . .But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ *it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him.”* 1Co 15:27 *So the Father *places* or *gave* him the position above all creation. *That means since it was given to him he did not have it till it was given to him!*
*Does that sound like they are eternal equals?* NO!
It is obvious the Father being the creator is above all creation, again Since God *gave* Jesus the position means Jesus did not always have it and the position obviously does not make them equals, for as scripture states,*” it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him.”* If you study the scriptures you will see that everything Jesus has was *given* to him by his Father, so they are definitely not equals! Jesus had to be *taught* (John 8:28) Jesus himself said, “. . .A student is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.” - Mt 10:24 Jesus is a servant to his Father (Ac 3:13). *Is a servant equal to the Master?*
So it is pretty clear that Jesus did not eternally hold the position that God gave him. *So when did Jesus get the position and why?* Let's see if the scriptures can give us more details. Concerning Jesus, “. . .he emptied himself and took a slave’s form and became human. More than that, when he came as a man, he humbled himself and became *obedient* to the point of death, yes, death on a torture stake. *For this very reason, God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name,”* - Php 2:7-9
*Conclusion:* Jesus was placed there by a *choice* that his Father made for reasons of being *obedient to the point of death.* Now as to how old Jesus is, is unknown we simply do not know but it's pretty obvious he’s not equal nor is Jesus eternal for if he was, why did God make a choice to do that in the first place? *Why did God give him a superior position if he was God???* Answer because Jesus nor his Father are the same according to any doctrine like the Trinity or any form of belief that makes Jesus God. *If you are given a superior position, then it is obviously higher than the one you previously had!*
I designed and created my own computer, but that does not make me the creator of the computer. So yes ... Jesus created things, but that does not make him the creator, for the creator taught him. (John 8:28)

“. . .Keep on teaching these things and giving these exhortations. If any man teaches another doctrine and does not agree with the wholesome instruction, which is from our Lord Jesus Christ, nor with the teaching that is in harmony with godly devotion, he is puffed up with pride and does not understand anything. *He is obsessed with arguments and debates about words.* These things give rise to envy, strife, slander, wicked suspicions, constant disputes about minor matters by men who are corrupted in mind and deprived of the truth, thinking that godly devotion is a means of gain.” -1Ti 6:2-5
“. . .So I desire that in every place the men carry on prayer, lifting up loyal hands, without anger and debates. . .” - 1Ti 2:8
“. . ., reject foolish and ignorant debates, knowing that they produce fights.” - 2Ti 2:23
I showed how you mistranslated the Greek word ... I also proved your notion of trying to change the meaning of firstborn is incorrect. King David was and will never be the Highest King on the Earth, King David was not made Firstborn! And I gave you similar similar scriptures to prove that. It's not Brain surgery, very easy and clear to understand. Very easy and clear to understand what the Greek word means. I don't need to say anything more than what I already said, concerning the video. I do my best to follow the scriptures and teach truth according to scripture. *As you see, you not only teach a lie, concerning a Greek word, but your method of teaching is unscriptural, and I don't wish to teach in an unscriptural manner by joining you in a debate.* And using the scriptures ... I see no reason to continue with this conversation. You have a nice day.

@Ro Busc Col 1:16 "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him" - KJV Created and Creator are not the same thing and do not have the same meaning. I designed, built, and created my own computer, but that does not make me the creator of computers. Next ... what is this saying Col 1:16 How did Jesus create all things? Jesus and his Father are things, so this is saying Jesus created himself and his Father also. *That does not make a bit of sense!* Until you consider the Greek word when considering the context implies other things. Example Php 2:21 (“all the others is implied”). If "other" is not implied then Php 2:21 would mean everyone is seeking their own interest.
