It's been two years since I posted this video, but if I were to take a guess, I'd say you need to "bake" the video before opening it with your editing software. I do this with VLC - "File > Convert/Stream". VLC is a bit more forgiving than Premiere or Final Cut, so it plays glitches and all. Once you've "converted" it with VLC once, you should be able to open with Premiere. Good luck!

Hey! When I mess with the codes on a video file and save it/export it - it shows up as a document, and not a video in finder? Got any idea why?
I'm not sure. Make sure you haven't changed the file extension. If you're on a Mac, the file extension might be hidden. Check the file information.
