“I’m take all the Fiji water. So he can’t rehydrate” that’s a different level of petty 😂😂😂😂😂
I love how the media just took “you gonna just rot in Portland?“ comment and left out the compliment lol
yep the only ones who had the full comment was undisputed
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 4X CHAMPION, 2 ALL NBA, SIXTH MAN OF THE YEAR, INTERNATIONAL AND NBA HALL OF FAMER MANU GINOBILI!
“I’ll take 20 bottles with sparklers and sent 1 to him so it’s look like he can only afford 1” Lmaooooooo bro, I love Gilbert man, it’s take imaginations and great level of petty for that and quick too 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When he said Lou Williams, I knew he’s trolling 😂😂
I agree with Gil on the pre-game interviews instead of post-game, especially after a loss!
Ain't no damn 5 sixth men better than Ginobili. That's why he couldn't think of any. The DISRESPECT 😮
Only one off the top of my head is McHale that's a no brainer
@@dewanewelch1744 I feel that
Super dope to see JR in such a good space and place!
Did you watch the same interview I watched? Jr is in a weird space wearing those goofy ass contacts. Feminine ass dude
JR my boy he was apart of bringing a Ring to the land 🔥
a part*
Yeeessssss siiirrrr
Y’all will never see one again
The league was
@@DottaYT you must be a Warriors fan🤣
JR Smith is a winner. Every team he went to got better
He helped Nuggets to conf. finals when melo was peaking
He was a big part of new Orleans teams with cp3
He was 6th man of year and big part of new York's best team since 90s
Starter for 2016 cavs championship and 4 straight finals
The Nuggets wasn’t JR lol. It was Chauncey
@@adgee5401 yes true offcourse chauncey was the main difference maker what I meant was the perception is that JR was a bad guy or selfish player when in reality he was really good and valuable to all teams he played for
@@sefs.k I get you. They all played their role
Facts.
JR Smith was a great player. He could do everything you expected a 2 to do
Lou is a certified bucket getter it’s crazy what he did with his size and height coming off the bench
Manu played hard that translates no matter what he's a HOF . And I'm a Kobe Bryant and Laker fan for the record.
the manu take is crazy. simplifying the argument to individual 1v1 is just that, an oversimplification. 1v1 definitely means something, but doesn't necessarily mean he's the better player. like, i would take kyrie 1v1 over curry, but in a real 5v5 game, curry's impact is far superior. therefore, i would say curry is the better player.
No sir no sir kyrie with lebron is different than kyrie without lebron in case you didn't see
@@B.Piercesports you make no sense , you just wanted to bring up lebron . He said facts .
Curry vs Kyrie one on one. Wow. Idk about that one. Curry is an all time great.
@@yahkimyisrayl6886 Kyrie wins that 1 on 1
Think of it this way, would a team made of 5 manus beat a team of 5 of the same (insert player) in a game
Jr arguing with the kid about him not having a better career than tmac is crazy 😂😂
Manu could’ve easily averaged 20-25 ppg if he started his whole career
In what setting? Starting with the spurs… maybe he could average that ……Being the focal point of a team ….hell no
@@jwilliams1582 any setting. The only thing that is in doubt is would he stay healthy/have as long a career
@@luckunlim I don’t see him averaging 20-25 solo I see max 13-15 ppg
@@jwilliams1582 you dont know basketball kiddo. Manu was in a system designed not to have a 25-30 ppg player, and yet the only time he played above 30 min, he had 20-5-5. Any other team, he'd be the 1st or 2nd point of offense, and he'd get a lot more touches
@@jwilliams1582 he was getting 13-15 off the bench lol
JR face at 17:24 is an instant Gif 😂
JR smith is a walking bucket, 2X champ and potential future pro golfer. Not bad for a guy that came out of high school 👏🏽
When he's hot that shot fall like rain no doubt but when he's not it's like wtf
Better than TMac!
Future pro golfer! 😂 there is no way dude, the guys on top are so many decades ahead of him, JR is a amazing athlete but let’s not disrespect the guys that been doing it their whole life
@@murdavashy L,
Him and Deron Williams is nice at 🏌️♂️
That Manu take is wild
To say the least smh
Gil was at fur and love heavy when he first came to the wizards 😂😂😂😂
nice hearing from jr been so long always love him and gil choping it up.
Glad y’all back 💯💪🏾
Junior Smith was definitely underrated.
Great interview 💯
Props to JR going from SPED to getting a degree in his late 30’s. Quite the journey
Going back to school at 26. Every time I have second thoughts I think of JR
Im still waiting for someone to open up that conversation where it was alot of black kids in special Ed that came outta school normal as hell they just couldn't summarize shit n how kids used to tease kids for it, alot of times it used to be the bad kid who was in SPED but this conversation is too close to some.
@@BLINDIAN1995 good for you man best of luck
Dope show
Brandon Jennings is on that list of guys that shoulda been able to jump into the league for sure
Didn't he?
@@Smith9082253 he came after LeBron so the one and done rule was in affect but Jennings was the first player to instead go overseas for a year of professional hoops before coming back to do the draft (he was the top ranked player in his class when he left and then fell to the 10th pick the next year when he got back) ** also he initially committed to Arizona for college but then he got outed for bogus act/sat’s and wasn’t gonna be academically eligible to play… which forced him to try the overseas route to the league)
I never knew he was Cuban
Great episode
I like how JR didn't give a cliché answer about handling your money
G.A. always spittin that real and I'm always here for it
Real talk.. and he a real one… but every now n then he let his personal feelings cloud what’s real…
“A millionaire taking a pay cut for a billionaire” 🤯
New set is 🔥
That gun powder went to Arenas head with that Ginobili take.
The idea that Mike built a tailored golf course is so funny lol
JR should still be in the league
shoutout to FUBO sports and gil, JJ.
this type of conversation being critical about the billionaire owners being cheap would never happen on a major network! but it’s facts.
Finally back. 🔥🔥📈📈
That's right Gil Flex Back! ... Exactly, JR -- how can a player NOT have emotions and still be expected to give themselves to the game.
Amazing episode
Salute JR
Once A Knick
ALWAYS A KNICK
Yup once a loser always a loser…..sounds about right
THE WORDS NO PLAYER WANTS TO HEAR LOL
Jr deserves to be on a NBA team he still can help a team!
Gil dropping some 💎💎💎💎
I Love Crawford, and yes these guys are pros, but Manu was tough stop playing!!!
Don’t care what they talking about Ginobili is an amazing 6th man. Those other guys might have been better than him individually on one on one play but when it comes to affecting winning Ginobili is that guy and is why I consider him a better 6th man than those other cats
When JR threw the no look oooooop to Bron In game 6
I said oh we bout to win the championship
It’s not how you drive it’s how you arrive - Mama there goes that man 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love Swish 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Manu Averaged 13.3 Lou Williams Averaged 13.9 and Jamal Crawford Averaged 14.6 so they are all essentially the same players. Manu was more of a two way player than those two.
Yea manu defense and playmaking is better thn them
Right!! I’m taking Manu B4 those two!!
Manu Euro Step was Amazing!
Ko8e Gave Manu Hella Respect 🫡 ✊🏾
Manu Won A Gold Medal!! He Beat USA 🇺🇸
2004! Manu A Goat 🐐
I think J.R Smith was As Good as Jamal and Lou 💪🏾💯
SHOUTOUT LAKEWOOD NJ. We on the map 😌
Salute to JR for keeping it a bean on the fact of him being from the subs and not trying to fit in
Legendary
J.R was the coldest on Denver & cavs playing him on 2k with the 3s & dunks was priceless 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡⭐️🚫🧢
Especially in Denver with melo and kmart
Knicks
J.R helped bring a ring to my city Cleveland he’s certified for life 🙏🏾
And he helped in 2018 to not get another so it's even?
Jamal Crawford would cook Ginóbili fasho 💯
But manu would cook jamal as well prime manu nope cooking him
Josiah be killin them adverts, though. Gill nice with them too.
Ayo this 59 minutes pod went by real quick. Felt like 20.
The 🐐 jr smith 🔥
Jr the goat
What?!Ginobili was a beast with a left handed shot..
Lmao he said I couldn’t afford a SHOT 😂
How is Gilbert so smart but so dumb funny 🤣
Great show man. I'm locked in.
Why was Rodman in the summer league in the mid 2000’s? I can’t find that info online
They cookin
Can you imagine HENNYGOD and HIBACHI in the club togther 😂
GIL BE DROPPING GEMS
Jr is so high 🤣
All the bottle waters is a insane flex
Lmao he said Gilberto 😂😂😂
2005 nba finals Tim Duncan finals mvp averaged 21 ppg right behind him was Ginobli with 19 ppg
Gill n Jr high ass hell 😂😂
Who told him to do the lil yachti? 😁
Gil’s takes are outlandish but thought provoking.
I came here just to say J.R. Smith might have the most underrated highlight reel all time
That nba 2k10 jr smith was like Jordan on Denver!!!!
Hell yeah 🤣😂
only real laugh I seen from that one guy when he asked JR about Steph 1v1 golf
The ginobli take was probably his worse take ever lmao
Regarding Manu vs. Crawford: too bad basketball isn't a 1v1 sport. Manu knew the role he needed to play, and he did his job extremely well. There aren't many in the NBA who would agree to come off the bench when they could easily have started for most of the other teams in the NBA. No one can convince me that Manu wasn't the VERY BEST 6th man of all time.
Say what you want about 1v1, but NBA basketball isn't played 1v1. Regarding Arenas' take, that's just his ego talking. Winning speaks a LOT louder than the random barbershop speculation we get all the time. And it's not surprising that ex-players are some of the LEAST objective when it comes to evaluating their peers, as you can see from the voting each year for MVP.
Ayeeee!
It's a team sport and it's only a handful of players..maybe that when they go to another team you can almost guarantee they're going to the playoffs or if you take them off the team the team would be in the lottery. To me that's an all-time great.
Gilbert is the best in sports
Facts
No Chill Hip🧏🏾♂️😆😂
Ginobili on a team where he was the #1 option, he would've went crazy.
that boy gil said he bought all the figi water 😭
Gilbert doesn’t value defense saying Jamal and Lue over Manu!! With the game on the line!! What about playoff buckets! I am taking Ginobili. My G played with a broken arm in the playoffs!! take that for DATA!! While Lue and Jamal were benched during the final minutes of playoff games!! Jamal and Lue great regular season players while Ginobili was a great playoff player and his South American team went on to win the gold medal over the USA!! Manu is a legend!
What makes Manu a CHAMPION is that he’s a team player not 1v1 player.
I wanna see the Gil vs Manu film
hard to name 5 sg’s above manu ; he in goat conversion
Speaking on the NBA owners segment the Mavericks and Cuban would turn into the Evil Empire.
I can tell JR love to hoop Gilbert is all about 💸💸💸. It's kinda annoying I would've never played with that negu as my point guard. Homie sold tickets for sure that's all he was... A talent show.
😁😁😁 Gil was nice
Not that nice though
Lou Will over Manu??? Can't do that. Love Lou tho
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🤣🤣🤣 he dehydrated the competition. Gil a fool, how you gone take all the fuji water 🤣
💥💯💥
Shout out to JR for keeping it real about not being from the hood and being in special ed. always respect when people keep it real
I think the one big exception to the part about college coaches only caring about themselves or not knowing how to handle talent is Calipari out of Kentucky. Yes the main goal every year is to win a natty but he doesn’t force them really to conform to something they aren’t, he provides structure and allows the talent to thrive. Bam Adebayo even said Calipari called him and 2 other dudes into his office after they lost in the tournament and said y’all need to leave, you will not be welcome back on the team next year and I’m destroying y’all’s transcripts. He produces and his players love him for it.
JR Smith came out of highschool, he was 6’6 coming into the league & was an absolute high flying kid dunking on any and every one who tried to contest his rim attacks he than easily transitioned to shooting that 3 pointer. I respect JR he was an all time great ROLE PLAYER. He truly embraced that he was going to be a role player and he kept his bags packed and went wherever LBJ needed him to go won some rings along that path triple salute🫡🫡🫡
My favorite 6 man is JR 🔥🔥🔥🔥
i took Kwames side in the fued but this is must see content every drop my Gil and Josiah is a must watch immediately
Commenting on the beginning of the video the schools just need to change
Understanding how these kids see the game now.. It's completely outrageous for someone to even let the thought of JR having a better career than TMac even cross their mind. LMAO I'm a JR fan but that's just crazy.
Respect to Jamal Crawford, ridiculous offensive talent
However...
Manu Ginobilli was better all round, for the Spurs and for Argentina.
Side note... Thank you for the euro step, Manu 💥
People been side steppin way before manu got In the league
@@albgamin410 any references?, so I can look them up
Manu TECHNICHALLY has the more enviable career (subjective)
But Jamal, to me is a much better offensive player.
Gill strictly liquor 🥃 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
Man the having too much time and money is definitely a problem I wouldn't mind having lol
points isn't the only thing that matters, Gil. yes, they matter, but taking a lesser role on a great team, shrinking your ego, passing ability, ability to keep the flow of the offense going.... lou will ain't really passing the ball. that stuff is important in a team sport. a lot of intangibles in the game, that's part of the reason Steph Curry is so great, it's not just his scoring, but it's his motion in the offense, his selflessness. looking at this stats, Curry got 6.8 asissts per 36 min, Lou Will got 5. I guess that's not as huge a difference as i figured lol... but i hope y'all see the point i'm trying to make.
